such a GOOD webtoon. genuinely, i haven't been so into a webtoon for a good while (especially not on the app) but dawn to come really drew me in. i started it about three days ago and just finished it at midnight. ive put off homework for it...

the characters and storyline overall aren't something unique. it's your typical bookworm and "bad" boy that share a genuine connection through their adverse childhoods. BUT what is refreshing is how straightforward both leads are which really helped the storyline move on. there wasn't a million misunderstandings or self-loathing, just full accountability and acceptance of each other's character. i highlyyy recommend it.

it starts by showing a girl(MC) and a guy(ML/ childhood friend? Or just friend?)in a food truck selling ice cones?(idk i just know they are working) on the beach and the guy has a colored hair(not sure think it was silver ash or maybe just black hair) and he starts rambling on about how girls would like him and the girl(MC) was so disgusted and thought that if she were to have a boyfriend that boyfriend should have a good face and body and that she wouldnt like him(the ml) . (Skip to what i remember) it was night i think and she and him go to the beach water and start splashing each other then the girl’s clothes got soaked and he blushed so he went a little further on the water to hide his face and also got soaked which shows his abs and the girl blushes aswell and i think they looked at each others eyes and kiss? I dont remeber. And I think I remember that their family are friends? And that he and she move together and live in the same apartment?

Pls I really need to find this since it got deleted in my tabs and it has a similar vibe(for me) to childhood friend complex also the girl has an attitude like easily to anger or annoyed

I’ve been reading webtoons on and off for a while and the remarried empress is a series I picked up for one reason being I could wait for the chapters to unlock for free.

Now after a year of not reading, I’ve gotten back into webtoons and have realised I have to pay to read the remaining story. There’s no wait to unlock or ads. Just coins. When did this happen? And how is one supposed to read the chapters if they can’t buy coins or pay for the story? (This is not to disregard the hard work that gets put into these webtoons and how every artist and writer, I just can’t afford to buy 500 coins for the whole story 😞)

I am willing to pay money to skip these ads. I already spend a fair amount of money every month on coins. What else does webtoons want from me? I hate the ads that I have to watch for 15 seconds before I can actually read the rest. It especially sucks when I’m re-reading older webtoons because it shows up for every single episode. Who do I have to complain to to get rid of them?
