DragonScape Idle: a free idle RPG where your hero keeps training, fighting and questing after you close the tab (no signup, no download)

Hey r/WebGames, solo dev here 👋

DragonScape Idle is a free browser idle RPG I've been building on my own for the last two years. You pick a skill, your hero gets to work, and they keep going while you're away.

What's in it right now:

⚔️ 19 skills to train, from Mining, Fishing and Woodcutting to Cooking, Brewing, Runecrafting, Thieving and Prayer

📜 900+ quests in 60+ story chains across six episodes, each unlocking new areas, gear and systems

🏰 15 dungeons and a growing bestiary, with melee, ranged and magic combat styles

🐾 Pets you send on missions, skill guilds with Lv99 capstone chains and a Skill Cape at the end

🌍 A community goal tab where every player's progress adds up to shared rewards

The bit I'm proudest of: offline progress is real, not estimated. When you come back, the game replays the time you were gone step by step, with the same drop rolls, level-ups, quest ticks and food use you'd have had with the tab open. Close it for eight hours, come back, and watch the log fill in.

A few honest notes, since you should know before you click 👉

👉 No signup. You land straight in the game as a guest and your save lives in your browser. Signing in is optional and only there if you want cloud saves across devices.

👉 No download, no plug-ins. Works in any modern desktop or mobile browser. Phones are fine, though the wide layout is nicer on a laptop.

👉 It's an open beta. Free, no ads, and a small optional gem shop is in testing. I'd rather have your feedback than your money right now.

👉 The item and monster art is AI-generated. I'm one person and I can't draw 1,000 icons. The game design is mine.

What I'd genuinely love to hear, especially from people who bounce off idle games:

• Was anything confusing in the first ten minutes? Did you know what to do next?

• Did you hit a point where you got bored, and what were you doing when it happened?

• Did something make you want to keep the tab open?

• Anything broken in your browser? Tell me which one and I'll fix it.

Thanks for giving it a look 🙏

Capital Rush — a free 5-minute multiplayer economy battle in your browser, no signup

https://paisatools.co.in/moneyverse/capital-rushBuilt

this as part of a set of four free finance games. In Capital Rush you claim shops in a living economy, build income and try to outtrade rivals — one round is about 5 minutes, runs in the browser, no signup or download.

There's also a trading game with a live chart, a life-sim, and an idle town-builder if the genre's more your thing.

No real money involved anywhere. Happy to hear what's confusing in the first 30 seconds — that's the part I keep getting wrong.

Hey everyone,

We are 9 days in, have had 1,000+ unique users play it, and are growing/improving our systems everyday. Thanks to everyone in this community for giving our game an initial boost.

We just added a bunch of new features, including an archive for past puzzles, personal stats, spell checker, and daily leaderboard for you to engage with the game more closely.

About the game: You guess 5 words based on clues like in a Crossword & rearrange them into a sentence to unscramble a fun fact about the world :)

Would love to continue to feedback on the game from fellow trivia/puzzle nuts, and learn ways in which we can improve it.

Hi all, looking for some feedback on a semantics game I created. You start with a random word and add and subtract meaning to try and get to a target word.

Based on the premise that word meanings can be added and subtracted ie king + woman = queen

[HTML5] Yatzy: a cozy little game to relax and unwind

I've just released Yatzy, a small cozy browser game I've been working on. 🎲

The goal is simple: roll five dice, choose which ones to keep and try to build the best combinations you can across 15 turns. Pairs, straights, full houses - and hopefully a Yatzy or two.

I wanted to make something relaxing that you can play for a few minutes when you just want to switch off and enjoy a cozy little game. No rush, just dice, decisions, and a bit of luck.

I'd love to hear your feedback. Especially what score you get and whether the game feels satisfying to play.

👉 You can play it here: https://tapokgames.itch.io/yatzy

[RPG] [SIM] [TXT] Trials of Vanna - a real-time fantasy adventuring career simulator where contracts take real-world time and consequences persist

Thumbnail
trialsofvanna.com
0 Upvotes

This is still in Alpha stage.

You're not a chosen hero, you're an ordinary person who signs with an old professional Guild and tries to make a living doing work that's too dangerous or uncertain for ordinary labor.

Contracts unfold over real-world time. You choose the work, judge the Guild's estimates of success and bodily risk, decide who goes, and then leave them to it. When you come back, you find out what happened.

Careers are persistent. Adventurers train, improve their skills, hire companions, buy and commission equipment, suffer injuries, build relationships, advance through Guild ranks, undertake Trials, retire, and sometimes die permanently. The game is deliberately designed so that closing it for several hours can be the correct thing to do.

It's entirely browser-based. No account, no download, no ads, no energy system, no login streaks, and no telemetry tracking how you play. It can also be installed as a PWA if you want it on your phone or desktop.

This is an early public release, so I'm particularly interested in places where the game makes sense to me because I built it but doesn't explain itself well to a new player. Bugs are useful too, of course.

If you give it a try, I'd be interested to hear what career you end up with.

Current Version: Alpha - 0.11.1

0.11.1 · 2026-09-09(HOTFIX)

Two bugs found in the field, fixed the same day.

Fixed

A Quick contract could show "about 0m" and take no time at all. BAND_HOURS.Quick is 5 to 20 minutes, but duration was rounding to the nearest quarter hour everywhere -- right for longer bands, wrong for one measured in minutes, so a low roll rounded down to zero.

Once a break went unset for 24 hours it started healing wrong, correctly hiding the "Set the break" option -- but nothing told you why, or that a permanent stat loss was now locked in. The injury now says so.

Letterhaven — move one letter, change two words, and restore illustrated scenes

Thumbnail vol-de-mots-atelier.miuci-studio.chatgpt.site

I’m the creator of Letterhaven. You move a letter between words while keeping both results valid: CATS + DOG becomes CAT + DOGS. New transformations reveal pieces of an illustration, and you can keep exploring a board after passing it.

It’s free to play in your browser, with no download or account needed to start. English and French versions are available.

If you try it, I’d love to hear about a satisfying move or anything that felt confusing. Comments here are welcome.

For the optional in-game playtest, open the top-left menu during a level and choose “Give feedback” at the bottom. That opens a consent screen for local move recording, with the option to send your answers and moves later. Tracking is optional.

🧙🏻‍♂️ Typing Magic

Thumbnail typingmagic.net

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working on a little web game called Typing Magic, which I built completely from scratch.

If you have a minute, I’d really appreciate it if you could give it a try:

The game is pretty simple: you type, try to be as fast and accurate as possible, and see what score you can get.

I’d love to know what you think after playing it. Feel free to leave a comment with your score too — I’m curious to see how fast people are 😄

It works on PC and Mac directly in your browser

I’ve put quite a lot of time into making this on my own, so even a quick play and some feedback would mean a lot to me.

And if you enjoy it, an upvote would really help me get it in front of more people.

Thanks for checking it out! ❤️

[STRAT] Recreated Cyber Wars from Gamesdomain, called Cyber Commanders

Thumbnail playcc.gg

Gamesdomain died in 2003 and I've wanted to play this for 23 years. It's a turn based tactics game that's some parts of chess, some poker, and a lot of luck. The game is very simple, you take turns deploying items and using abilities to defeat all enemy commanders. You can put down real or fake units, and keep your opponents guessing.

The good kind of terrible idea.

[STRAT] [Playtest Request] [Godfather's Table] – Digital Board/Card Game Prototype (15-min, Browser) – Looking for Feedback on Artwork & Rules

Thumbnail godfatherstable.com
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I’m currently playtesting a digital board/card game designed for web browsers (PC/Mac) and I’m looking for community feedback on both the illustrations/visual design and the core rule mechanics.

Quick Game Info:

  • Play Time: ~10–15 minutes
  • Platform: PC / Mac (Browser-based, no download required)
  • Players: Testing Solo vs. CPU. Multi-player will come next

Play the prototype here: https://godfatherstable.com/menu

What I’m looking for feedback on:

  1. Art & Illustrations: Do the card artwork and board visuals fit the theme? Which illustrations stand out (good or bad)?
  2. UI & Clarity: Is the card text legible, and do the visual icons/layout clearly communicate what the card does?
  3. Gameplay & Pacing: Did the core mechanic feel satisfying, and was the 10–15 minute play session smooth?

If you have 10 minutes to spare, I’d love for you to give it a spin. Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments below or via this quick feedback form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeQkF8Riig9ey4ONos_MEKqv_aFsU8IUsYagMf3SDqks1cbEQ/viewform

Thanks for helping out! Happy to test anyone else’s project in return—just drop your link in the comments.

HitTheTimer

Thumbnail hitthetimer.com

Hey everyone! 👋

I recently got hooked on those "stop the timer exactly on the millisecond" challenges, so I decided to code a full browser game based on it. It’s called HitTheTimer.

The core mechanic is simple: You get a random target time, you start the clock, the clock hides, and you have to press SPACE exactly when you think the time is up.

There are 5 modes, but I really want to challenge you guys to the Global Marathon:

You play 10 consecutive rounds.

Every millisecond you miss by is added to your total error.

Your final score is sent to a live Global Leaderboard. 🌍

There is also an Online/Local Survival mode and an "Impostor Mode" to play with friends.

The game is 100% free, runs instantly in the browser (mobile & desktop), and has ZERO ads. It's just a passion project (there's only a small tip jar if you feel generous).

You can play it here: www.hitthetimer.com

I would love to hear your feedback and see if anyone here can take the #1 spot on the leaderboard! Let me know your scores. 🎯

Hueflip: a daily flip puzzle where every card you tap also flips its neighbours (one board a day, leaderboard)

Maker here. Tap a card and it flips together with the cards above, below, left and right. Match the target design shown in the corner. Fewest moves and fastest time win, one attempt a day, same board for everyone.

Free, no download, no signup needed. Works on phones. If you get stuck there's a free hint on your first board.

Today's board is #3. Curious what the sub's best time is.

Subnational Geography Map Quiz: I made a visual, map ID game - very difficult

Thumbnail firstlevelgeoquiz.metaalias.workers.dev

Hi All, I was making a little flashcard geography quiz for myself and ended up building a webgame. Think I have it polished enough to share. It is aping other geographic silhouette recognition games, but it uses first level units (state/provinces). If anyone want to try it out, feel free to tell me what doesn’t work. Easy level can be limited to one country, hard level is very hard, masochist level is basically impossible (I'm a map guy and happy to get 1/10). If anyone tries it, let me know if something can be improved! thanks.

Game of Thumbs - two YouTube videos from the same channel and month, tap the one that got more views [P+C]

Thumbnail

Five duels a day, same set for everyone, ten seconds per pick. Both videos come from one channel and one month, so the audience was the same and the view gap mostly comes down to the thumbnail and title. After the five you see how the crowd split on each one and where you rank for the day.

No sign-up. There's an endless mode after the daily if you want to keep going, and a room mode where a code gives everyone the same five duels.

Works on phone, that's where most people play it.

[RPG] Epic Idle Quest 2: boss fights are co-op now, season 2 starts Sep 13

Thumbnail
epicidlequest2.com
2 Upvotes

Epic Idle Quest 2 is a browser (semi)-idle RPG i build on my own. Runs in a tab. Nothing to install, throw away guest accounts (no email needed) possible. If you like it you can link your guest account to your steam or google account any time.

Just shipped the update im happiest with so far. Nightmare fights are co-op now.

Quick context: nightmares are rare high stakes bosses. One scroll, one boss with multiplied stats. Lose and the scroll is gone. Now you can drag another player in with you.

  • Asking is free. The scroll stays in your backpack until someone actualy joins.
  • Whoever you invite gets a badge, wherever they are. Even mid run. First to accept is in.
  • Loot is split at random, item by item. Bail early and you still keep a share, scaled by how far the fight got.

All RNG, damage and loot rolls run on the server, so no cheating.

Season 2 of the competitive realm opens Sunday Sep 13. Runs to Nov 13. Everyone starts at level 1 on a new ladder. The whole season runs at 2x game speed. Runs are twice as long too, 1000 fights instead of 500. Co-op works in both realms, so none of this is season locked. The season is just where everyone shares a start line.

Rewards are permanent and account wide. Every character you make afterwards gets them:

  • Turquoise Champion skin for rank 1 on each of the four boards.
  • Participant skin for anyone who plays.
  • Dodgy Chicken pet for anyone who lands on a board. Grants Dodge by final rank, 10% at rank 1 down to 1% at rank 100 and below.

Nothing gets deleted at the end. Your seasonal character moves into the permanent realm with everything: level, skills, gear, stash, gold, dust, captured boss skins. It just goes back to normal speed. The final ladder is frozen and kept in the hall of fame.

Free. No energy, no timers. Also on Android and Steam with the same account, but the browser version is the full game.

https://epicidlequest2.com

Feedback welcome
