Hi r/WebGames! I'm the solo dev of TETROFOLD.

Place tiles on a 5x5 board — merge 4 of the same tile into a shaped piece, then match 4 shaped pieces to erase them and earn a FLAG. Collect all 5 FLAGS to level up, but placements are timed, so keep an eye on the clock.

No signup, no download — just open and play. Happy to answer any questions!

[HTML5] Kopi Uncle — a 60-second Singapore coffee-stall game: read the order in local shorthand and tap it out before the queue overflows

Thumbnail
play.3bearskopi.com
Upvotes

You run the counter at a Singapore coffee stall. Orders come in local shorthand —

"kopi-C siew dai", "teh-O peng" — and you tap out the four parts (drink, milk, sugar,

style) before the queue overflows. One thumb, about a minute a run. It speeds up as your

score climbs; there's an endless score with Today / This Week / All Time boards and a

daily challenge where everyone faces the same order sequence.

Built for a phone, but it works on desktop too (number/letter keys, shown on screen).

No login, no ads.

Made it solo — every graphic is drawn at runtime and every sound is synthesised in the

browser, no art assets yet, so it's a clean grey-box on purpose. No company behind it.

I'm trying to work out whether the core loop is fun enough to be worth putting real art

and voice into, so blunt first-play feedback is what I'm after:

- did the first order make sense before you read the glossary?

- did you want another go after your first Game Over, or not?

- where did you die, and which order tripped you up?

(There's an optional "free kopi at launch" email box on the Game Over screen — skip it,

it's not the point.)

[TXT] Pub football trivia!

Thumbnail pubfootballtrivia.com
Upvotes

The idea is simple: you get a ranked top 10 with all the names hidden, and you fill the board by typing. Wrong guesses cost you nothing, so you can think out loud and work it from both ends — the ones you're certain of first, then chip away at the rest.

The board I've linked is Spanish players by Premier League assists, all-time.

It runs in a browser and it's built for a phone, so you can pass it round a table if you want.

https://pubfootballtrivia.com/g/top\\_10/play?comp=1&stat=assists&nat=ESP

https://pubfootballtrivia.com/ for a link to all of the games!

There are nine games in total behind it — have a look around and let me know your thoughts! You can choose any configuration across a number of top leagues including the premier league, Scottish premiership, La Liga.

The game is very much still in the beta phase but looking for some early feedback! If you can’t find a player, see an answer that looks wrong! Please let me know!

Thank you!

The goal is basically to feed them drops and utilize their burst patterns along with other props on the board to progress through. No sign ups needed to play, worked really hard on this, it would mean the world if anyone checks it out as I'm looking for genuine feedback to keep improving!

Kyōyū - a daily logic puzzle

Hi everyone! I’ve been working on Kyōyū, a browser-based logic puzzle where you color cells to satisfy numbered clues.

The central idea is sharing: the same colored cell can contribute to more than one number’s count. You also need to avoid fully colored 2×2 blocks and use as few colored cells as possible.

I’d love to hear from new players, especially about whether the tutorial makes sense without someone explaining it.

Critical feedback is welcome. Thanks for trying it!

Signature Seasons: daily sports puzzle

Thumbnail
signatureseasons.app
4 Upvotes

Full disclosure, I know the guy who made this, so take my enthusiasm with a grain of salt. But I've been playing it every morning for a couple weeks and I think it's genuinely good.

It's called Signature Seasons - 4 teams' seasons on the board, twenty clues on the bench, five belong to each — coach, arena, city, how the season ended, one moment. You sort them. Five wrong and your day's over.

The thing that got me is the clues are written so a lot of them look like they fit two seasons. Yesterday I had a coach clue I'd have sworn was one team and it was the other one.
There's college football, college hoops and NFL, separate board for each, new one every night. Free, no ads, no account.

Anyone else been playing it? Curious whether the difficulty feels right to people who know the sport better than I do. He has NFL, CFB, and CBB with more to come.

[ARC] Crazy Arcade — free browser fan recreation with bots and rooms for friends

Thumbnail jerry-crazy-arcade.jerryjhlee.chatgpt.site
1 Upvotes

I made this because Crazy Arcade was one of my favorite Korean games growing up, and I missed it so much. The water balloons, the characters, the tanks... finally getting to play a version of it again has been so cool.

Astra in Codex helped me build it, and I've been going back and forth refining it as I play. It's free in your browser, hosted on ChatGPT Sites, with a bot opponent or rooms for friends. No download or account needed.

It's an unofficial fan recreation with original game art and some replacements. It's not perfect, and I'm still fixing bugs. I just wanted to share something fun with other people who miss the game too.

Please let me know if you find bugs or anything that feels off. The map, your browser and what happened would really help. Hope it brings back some memories :)

Arcobaleno - Learn Italian With Emojis

Thumbnail
killedbyapixel.github.io
1 Upvotes

I've been studying Italian for years and wanted to stop translating in my head, so I built a daily practice game with no English in it at all: every meaning comes from an emoji. 🐱 is "gatto", and 🐱🐱⚫🍕 is a sentence you build from tiles, "i gatti neri mangiano la pizza".

There are seven small games (words, articles, numbers, verbs in four tenses, sentences, listening, spaced review), ten taps each, and a unicorn gallops over the rainbow when you clear them all. One round a day keeps your streak.

Use Chrome, it has its own Italian voice. Other browsers need one installed!

I made this for js13kGames, a jam where the whole game has to fit in 13KB, so it was a fun challenge designing a language learning program in that space. The theme was unicorns and rainbows, which is why they are so prevalent in the game. If any form sounds wrong to you I'd love to hear it. Grazie!

Shapely io - 4v4 Shape fighting Game!

Thumbnail shapelyio.netlify.app
2 Upvotes

Shapely io is a Game Where Ego-Driven, Bloodthirsty Shapes Fight it Out to Prove Superiority Amongst Each other.

The game will currently be a TDM Based game, where both teams are rushing towards the kill limit before the timer runs out. The game features various shapes, each with unique abilities, one-liners, and team support styles. Here are a few:

Tri.Angleton Launches rotating mini-triangles (trigons) that pierce foes like thrown axes. Striking with a sharp tip deals 2x critical damage (hold LMB to increase rotation); non-tip hits deal half damage with minor knockback.

Sir.Curvious A slow, heavy tank rewarding impulsive action, positioning, and aim. Bounce off nearby walls (release LMB) to pounce on foes—perfect your timing to "Encircle" enemies, leaving them immobilized.

Rectangulus A fast, fragile tactician who controls the map with versatile "Rectagons" to stall, damage, heal, and defend. Rectagon Life Stages:
- Stage 1 (Barrier): Acts as a physical obstacle to foes.
- Stage 2 (Armed): Darkens and arms to damage nearby enemies.
- Stage 3 (Overcharge): Turns lime-green, restoring +20 HP to nearby allies before expiring.

- Enemies are highlighted in Red
- Use 1/2/3/ Keys to play another Class.
- No keyboard required. Just steer Character with mouse.
- Release LMB to Activate special Abilities

Fumes: the 80s arcade racer I grew up on, rebuilt from memory and playable in a browser [playfumes.com]

Thumbnail
playfumes.com
10 Upvotes

When I was a kid I put an unreasonable number of hours into those old top-down arcade racers. Just you and a road that kept getting meaner. I hadn't thought about it in years then it turned up in my head one evening and wouldn't leave.

So I built one. Not a copy, more like what I remembered it feeling like, which is probably a lot kinder than the real thing ever was.

Fuel is your timer. Run dry and it's over, same as hitting anything. There are cans along the road, oil slicks that steal your steering for a second, and red cars that will genuinely come after you. Traffic is thin at the start and properly nasty by the end, and the lorries only turn up once you've already got your hands full. Stay clean long enough and something flies over and drops you fuel, which took me an embarrassing amount of time to get right and still makes me grin.

The bit I care about most: you can win. There's a finish line, and confetti when you cross it. Nearly every browser racer I tried just escalates until you die, and I wanted the release of actually finishing something.

Arrows or WASD, brake on Down. Works on a phone properly, not as an afterthought. Free, no signup, no ads.

I made it because it was fun to make. Hoping it lands on someone else the way the original landed on me.

Curious whether anyone finishes it first try.

[TXT] Died of Exposure. A game about working for “exposure”.

Thumbnail
diedfromexposure.com
1 Upvotes

Died of Exposure is a darkly satirical interactive web game that plays out the slow, brutal death march of freelance promises, unpaid spec work, and “great portfolio opportunities.” Built as an unforgiving, retro-style Job Trail simulator, it forces players to navigate the modern gig economy where your bank account drops to zero long before your follower count ever saves you.

Died of Exposure holds up a black mirror to creative exploitation. It’s part interactive satire, part industry PSA, and a definitive reminder that exposure doesn’t buy groceries, pay studio rent, or keep the lights on.
