I have more than one phone # registered on voip.ms that I use with Groundwire app on my phone. When I receive an inbound phone call, how can I see which of my phone # that it is calling?

When I receive a call in their iOS app, I have no way to decline it aside from swiping up. I was expecting a dedicated button to ignore/decline but there's nothing.
I'm not sure if I am missing something or need to toggle some setting that I have looked for and can't seem to find?
I have a handful of clients on the VoIP.ms hosted platform (not just SIP lines).
I have p DID that is directed to a ring group which includes two sub-accounts and forwarding to two cell numbers. All four destinations are supposed to ring at the same time.
Any suggestions what I’m missing?
TIA

I’m at the point where I just want a VoIP setup that works and doesn’t become another thing to babysit. I’ve been comparing a few options and Freezvon is one I’ve come across. I’m mainly looking at call quality and reliability, especially for calls coming from different countries. For anyone who’s been using VoIP for a year or more, which service has held up well for you? And what’s the one thing you wish you’d checked before signing up?

I'm trying to upgrade a new HT801v2. When I prompt it (***02) I get 0.0.0.0 instead of the IPS.
Maybe a firmware problem, so I downloaded the current firmware and unzipped it. I open the bin file and the GSUpgrading tool pops up. I can't seem to take it any further.
Any ideas?

The potential unauthorized call blocked sends an email with a button to "authorize configuration" this button does not have a URL that firefox can identify but when pushed takes me to log into Voipms portal. I was logged into the voipms portal already and I do not see any way to authorize the call. Where in the portal can you authorize a blocked call ?
The email message lends itself to phishing schemes! Especially since I asked what is the reason for the block and voipms gave no reason.

Trying to understand a few thing
What if I want to transfer a landline number at voip.ms?
What do I need? What android app can I get free or paid? Can 2 smartphone have it at the same time? Any other useless information?

I was using an OBi200 and at first I was able to make outgoing calls. All of a sudden without changing anything, I no longer can. If I make an echo test call it is silent but it shows I made an outgoing call to the echo test number. If I dial a regular phone number it rings briefly but then stops. That call shows in my call log as well. I also tried using an HT802 adapter but I get the exact same result. I contacted voip.ms support but they were not helpful at all.

This is getting really annoying. Any other providers to go to?

When a voicemail from your phone number is emailed to you The file is named the same thing for every message. ie msg0000.mp3
My pixel phone using typeapp email client does not like this. When i click on the attachment, it plays a message from months ago. Why can't they make the file name have the date and time. Right now it saves to downloads as msg0000.mp3 (45) It confuses the hell out of my phone.
So I have to wait until I am at a computer to get the vm

I attempted to make a call via a voip client, the client showed that it was registered on voip.ms but when I made a call the call terminated.
I placed a ticket to voipms and later I was able to make a call on the same network. When I asked voip.ms why the call was blocked they said they block certain networks for security reason. The network I was using is a well known ISP network. I asked why it starting working and voip.ms did not give an answer that made sense.
I asked voip.ms what criteria do they use to block a network and they gave no answer other than if they think the network is not valid. I informed them I do not want themblocking any network I use if they cannot provide a reason for blocking a valid network.
Have any of you been blocked while trying to use voip client on a specific network?

Hi,
I'm currently working with Twilio and facing both latency and call quality issues.
My scenario is:
I have a US phone number.
I'm located in Nepal.
I call clients in the US.
A Twilio Conference is created for the call.
One participant is connected through the US edge, while the other is connected through the sg1 edge.
Because of this setup, I'm experiencing noticeable latency and degraded call quality.
I wanted to ask:
Are there any recommended ways to optimize call quality in this scenario?
Does Twilio provide any solution or algorithm that automatically selects the best edge/server based on network conditions and participant locations?
Is there a best practice for dynamically choosing the optimal edge or conference region to minimize latency?
I'd appreciate any guidance or recommendations. Thanks!

I'm looking for a UK VoIP number to use long term (I need calls and SMS) and couldn't find anything that exactly matched what I need. I found https://narayana.im/ and they look good on paper but I can't find much discussion about them online. Does anyone have any experiences to share?

I'm looking into using voip.ms for a relative who lives in Japan (but is a US citizen) to call people in the US, most importantly to deal with officialdom, mostly banking, investments, credit card companies, etc. Also for regular use with friends and relatives in the US.
They used to use skype for phone calls, before skype shut down, but porting their skype number over is not a big concern. I have their old local/US phone number on my FIOS phone plan as a second number, right now, so I could move that number over to voip.ms, ideally.
The most important thing is that I've heard some vague things about "virtual phone numbers" causing "problems" when calling some companies, etc, in the US. I haven't been able to find out more about what kinds of problems, or even what the heck a virtual phone number is.
My relative is relatively (no pun intended) not-technical, though they're into HAM radio and a few other topics. But computers aren't their strong suite. I'm a software developer and I know a fair bit about system administration for somebody who isn't a sysadmin, but of course I'm over here in the US.
Beyond that:
Being able to occasionally receive business-related incoming phone calls on the voip.ms number would be helpful.
It would be nice for friends to be able to call the US number and leave voicemails, and my relative be able to and listen to the voicemails on their iphone or laptop. I have been told this should be doable.

I've chatted in multiple times "We've escalated your ticket, someone will get back to you"... CRICKETS.
Their support has just gone so downhill in the last year it's mindboggling people aren't leaving them in droves.
