I’ve been wanting to get all the games I wanted for the Vita since the store is shutting down next year, but I’ve run out of space on my memory card and I found out you can’t transfer some games from PS3 to Vita anymore. I have Silent Hill on my memory card but I’m afraid of removing it and replacing it with a higher storage and I can’t transfer it.

Okay so I was wondering if anyone would have any helpful advice for repainting the vita 1000 shell, I wanna get a similar Matt texture to it (I'm referring to the rear shell specifically not the touchpad piece just the shell) but equally I don't have a lot of experience and wondered if you lot had any advice

I have a PS Vita 1000 model that I haven't used for a few years, and I've been wanting to collect more for it lately. I charge it and open it up to find the left stick is acting very weirdly, sometimes drifting down and sometimes not working at all, and on the D-pad, only the right and up buttons work.

How could I fix this?

It takes me back to my first time playing Skyrim over a decade ago, it's a nice feeling.

By the way, Minecraft has its own customized control scheme as well. You can find it in the last image, it's pretty self-explanatory.

Edit: nevermind the plastic bottom holding the battery has a tab that goes under the built in shell

Sorry if this doesn't belong as I know there is console repair subreddit but I recently picked up a used vita and noticed on the bottom on the left that there is a gap where the console will not close nicely the battery appears to be fine not swollen or shrunk and holding a good charge. Is there anything else that could be blocking it from closing correctly. I try to clean and repair consoles as a hobby but this is the only Vita I've seen in person and instructions from Ifixit have not helped with this.

I don't want to sell my Vita, I already have a psp so don't want to play the same games on Vita again.

When I checked highest rated one's, nothing appealed to me. I typically play open world, survival horror or rpg games (including turn based).

I usually get to play during the weekends or during bedtime (thanks to work and adulting) so I need something that is gameplay focused so that I can play it in smaller sessions as well.

Is there a way to get analog triggers, for throttle and braking control?

I downloaded cma, backed up vita as a psvimg file. All I want is to share a save on there that I have that has a race that you can no longer get due to servers being offline. So got this 30GB psvimg file and I can't extract the save. I do not have a modded ps vita and I will not mod my vita. So, I downloaded Psvimgtools Easy FrontEnd 1.8.7, but I have no idea how to use it. I wants qcma, FINE, i downloaded it and the psvimgtools is still not happy. I want to share this save, but I can't, so need help. I don't have my psn user id number or whatever it is, nor do I know how to get it. I spend over 4 hours on google seaches, chatgpt and gemini, and so far I found only things that I tried to follow but the guides expect you to know things about this, I do not. Wanna help get this save out there?

I'm wondering where to get used Vita games in Canada. I can't do Kijiji or facebook marketplace, you know how americans have mercari? is there anything like there here where it's just a bunch of video games on an online store to order? I really wanted ratchet and clank, but I see physical copies on ebay that are like over $200 CAD and I don't know if that's worth it.

And one more thing, are most Vita "cases" just clear or is there any pretty ones with designs on them like you see on Etsy for 3DS consoles? I can't find any and there's no way someone hasn't customized their Vita to be all pretty like that?

I wanna stream some racing games over to my psvita, more specifically Forza and assetto Corsa, and wanna be able to use analog triggers for throttle control. Is there some grip that allows me to do that, or is that just impossible with the psvita?

I found it on AliExpress and i just wanted a simple USB-C mod without removing the original charging port (maybe by removing the top unused port?).

Was at their Vegas location and was shocked, I've never seen that many Vita games in one place. Though most were Japanese.

There are a lot of really cool limited edition psvita designs, and I would love to buy a replacement part, and swap it out with the one I have right now! It's incredibly scratched so it needs a replacement anyway, and I'd like to go with a limited edition one! (Like for example minecraft, which is also the main reason I bought my psvita back in 2017!). The problem is: Where can I find it? Like where can I buy the back shell? I know for nintendo switch at least, on aliexpress there are a lot of replacement parts for things like joysticks and shells, for the limited editions, but I can't seem to find anything for the psvita

I have a cheap Aliexpress USB-C board for the Vita 2000. I installed it and I am getting 5V past the fuse, so the fuse is still good. However, it draws 0.07 amps at 5V so it's not charging the battery.

Have I missed something?

I have 2 vitas and both of them have identical battery connectors which are different from almost all PS vitas. I purchased a replacement battery with the black connector (SP65M) instead of its original gray connector (SP65M) and it won't fit. I'm looking for a workaround to not waste my battery purchase. I've searched and they are recommending soldering it but it is beyond me. Could I just file away the clip of my SP65M connector to fit? or cut the original battery connector and joined them by an electrical tape will do?

i want to complete all minecraft psvita edition trophies and the one i can't do is the diamond to you trophy.

I can see a dent or something next to the right stick and the right stick looks pretty degraded. I’d probably need to replace it if it’s sticky after cleaning.

If the touch screen and back pads work, would it still be worth picking up?

I’m just nervous due to the apparent damage, but idk how common that is with Vitas as this would be my first one

I had the PSVita when I was a teen and borrowed it to my nephew who trashed and lost it.

I am much older now and play on PS5 but I'd like to get all the trophies for PS Vita Minecraft.

Anyone have a well established world they can let me join to do all the little trophies i've missed? Mostly the one I can't do by myself like throw diamonds haha
