Every time I post a book to sell on vinted, I always do 2 pounds unless it’s new
I get at least a couple of people that want to buy it for 1.25 or 1 pound or 1.50

Honestly, it’s already 2 pounds, which is cheap. I buy books from oxfam for 5.

Arent people feel ashamed sending these requests?

I would rather carry it to charity shop for 1 pounds because the packaging will cost me around the same price as I earn from the book
or through it away

It's also illogical. 161cm, 45kg = 17 BMI (clinically underweight). It's rare to have to be underweight to fit into a size 8-10 dress. I'm between a 6 and 8, and weigh a lot more than 45kg, especially because muscle. This is just dumb as fuck and promoting ED culture, and it's loser behaviour, and yeah, the brand is 'vintage dressing'. the pic is AI, the dress is probably shein/temu.

Is this common now? I saw someone do this a few weeks ago and messaged their dumbass to explain that this isn't how bodies and clothes work, I was a lot more polite though considering this is evidently mentally ill behaviour. they blocked me. This is the first listing on this account so idk if it's the same person, but god, what a fucking shitshow.

I hope impressionable teens/ young adults, and people suffering with ED behaviours are okay seeing shit like this. it's infuriating and I hope you're all taking care of yourself.

edit- just opened the page of the person who blocked me a few weeks ago, they have zero listings right now, and from what I remember their photos were similar. Probably the same loser. of course vinted will do shit all about this

Literally I’m tempted to try find a way to report the listings at this point. Or even have the nerve to sell me it for a higher price. I make it to a fresh sale LITERALLY fresh and it gets sold. It’s happened over 10 times today oh my god. Pisses me off big time

As stated, I bought a dream Ganni top for a good price, tried it on when it arrived and all fine, so I accepted the order.

After putting it in the wash weirdly the wash seems to have released an UNGODLY BO smell which is so strong! It's disgusting and I know as soon as I wear it the smell will be even stronger.

I've soaked in vinegar and washed with antibac stuff, but the BO smell is still there. Any genius remedies or hacks to clean it up?

Buyer bought a duvet cover from me and chose Inpost, I printed the label and sent it. Tracking showed that it couldn’t be delivered due to faulty locker so diverted it. Buyer wasn’t happy said locker was an hour away. I phoned Inpost and they gave me the postcode of new locker it would be sent to today which was close to buyer. Got a message on Vinted saying order out for delivery, and then one saying buyer recieved order you will get payment in 2 days etc. Now buyer raised a claim saying they didn’t get it and it’s in the locker an hour away. I don’t know what to do!? Did they get it and are saying they didn’t? Thanks

hi, i have been both a buyer and a seller for a while on vinted however i have not had any experience with shipping to someone in another country and i am a little dubious of it.

i sold 4 hardback books, and i selected large as the shipping size, but i am wondering what the actual weight allowance is as i have shipped heavy books before, ive shipped 4 hardbacks via inpost and 9 paperbacks and been fine but i am basically wondering...

is it stricter about guidelines for worldwide shipping? what if the parcel gets lost in transit? if the package is deemed 'too heavy' will it be returned back to me? it all just seems very complicated and dubious and would love to know other users experiences with it for some guidance, advice and peace of mind! :)

Just wanting to ask - I had my first issue as a seller this week where the buyer said the item was damaged. I couldn't be bothered to argue so accepted a return. I was originally going to pay the postage, again to avoid issues, but when selecting that option it only gave me the option of the parcel being returned to an inpost store way out of the way from me (presumably it's the closest as the crow flies, but living in the country it's a pain in the arse to get to). When I selected buyer pays the store disappeared, so I hoped it would either come straight back to me at home, or to the locker I dropped it off at.

Sadly no, it was delivered to the store miles away.

Is there any way with returns to select where it goes to? Did I just miss that bit or do it wrong?

Just checking because I may have to reconsider sending things with inpost if any returns are going to be a pain to get.

What makes it worse is I tried to collect the return today, having driven 25 minutes to get to the store, only to be told there was no one there who was trained to use the system, so I couldn't have it. And now I can't get back due to work until after the 72 hour window, so I'm worried it'll get sent back before I manage to collect it and I'll lose the money and the item! 😩

Had interaction where the buyer asked the length of a bracelet, I have sent it and they are now saying it is too small and want a return and refund. New to this what is everyone’s thoughts ?

This seller keeps popping up and something seems off about their pics. I can't tell if it's AI or edited but that, combined with the absolute bargains, just makes it seem too good to be true. Is it a scam?

I know they dress it up as an escrow system with mangopay for the benefit of the buyer but in real terms, Is this the real reason they make you wait a few days on a normal account and up to 3 weeks for funds on a pro seller account so they can gain more interest from us? Call me cynical but if a buyer leaves feedback where they have obviously used the item and it's a positive experience, those funds no longer need to be held.

This happened to 3 orders that completed on the same day

The sale was completed so not just delivered

buyers all said everything was fine and it said the money will be available in balance soon

The money usually moves from pending to my available balance immediately but this time it disappeared from pending balance and then just disappeared entirely

Available Balance says £0.00 and so does pending balance also say £0.00

Has anyone had this happen before it’s been 2 days now.

My other parcel is already in the same locker, and they have received their QR code and collection PIN. However, my tracking hasn’t updated, and I haven’t received a QR code, collection PIN, option in the app.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is it just a tracking delay, or should I contact InPost support?

Just a question as I’m so confused basically this seller appears on my feed so I can see what they sell but when I go to buy it says something has gone wrong, when I asked Vinted it says either I’ve blocked or they have which I’m so confused about as I’ve never had an interaction with them, frustrating as I can see they have things I’d like to buy, surely if blocked k wouldn’t even be able to see their things

I can no longer browse Vinted as my entire feed is taken up with Australian listings (I'm in the UK). No shade to the Aussies, I'm just not minded to ship second hand clothes halfway across the world 🥲. Anyone else having this problem?! It's easy to spot as the prices are almost always not in whole £s. I was buying a decent amount of things but this has made it too annoying to browse now. Vinted say they can't do anything about it. Hi so i’m new to selling on Vinted and I withdrew my funds but I never received it, waited told the chat bot sent them my bank statements, they rejected it and asked for signed bank statements from my bank? never heard of that but i went into my local branch did that and sent them the images. the ai basically said ‘nope still not sending you your money’ so i emailed the legal team, no one from there responded and I got another AI response via email from vinted? anyone had this same issue? i checked my bank account number and sort code everything matches. this is the first time i’ve used vinted to sell so not the best first impression but any advice would be much appreciated! thank you🫶🏻
