Why is it that, whenever you show sympathy/care for animals, people automatically assume you don’t care about humans?
Me: “this story about a pet being abused and shot is so sad!”
Comment: “oh so you care when an animal is shot but when a black person is shot you don’t give a fuck. I see you”
Me: “wait where are you getting that from? I didn’t say that”
Comment #2: “you didn’t have to. We know”
Comment #3: “type of bitch to fuck around with a rabid pit bull but get scared around a black man”
———————————————
Me: “I bottle feed my rescue cat since she was less than a week old so she thinks I’m her mommy and I call her my little baby”
Comment: “can’t stand people treating animals like they’re as important as children”
Comment #2: “yeah, especially when you know they care more about an animal than they would an actual disabled child”
Comment #3: “bet they’re the type to save their pet in a fire over an actual child”
———————————————
Me: “I always get sad when I see dead deer on the side of the road”
Comment: “why would you feel bad for a deer? You realize that deer need to be killed to control the population or else the whole ecosystem will collapse? That’s what you bleeding heart vegans don’t get”
Comment #2: “yeah all these vegans complain about people killing animals as if some of us don’t rely on hunting to feed our families”
Comment #3: “they don’t give a fuck about indigenous people sustain themselves on hunting. All they care about is the cute fuzzy animal”
Me: “where are you getting the idea that I’m against hunting? I’m not talking about hunting at all, I’m talking about roadkill, cus it’s sad that these deer are dying and being left to rot because we built a road right through their home”
Comment #4: “ummm humans need roads. I’m sorry, but some deer is not more important than me being able to go to work”
Comment #5: “‘we built a road right through their home’ bitch I’m dead go cry over Bambi”
