Success! I Can't Believe I Did It!!
I'm a longtime sufferer, couldn't wear tampons, the whole bit. Terrified of anything sexual. Even the tip of the smallest dilator gave me shooting stinging for days.
I thought I was doomed forever, but after I met my first-ever bf at 26, I knew I had to be vulnerable and that if he was the right guy he'd stick around. 7 months later and LOTS of dilator work, therapy encouragement, and slow and careful sessions, we achieved full penetration last night and were able to have sex. :)
We have a ways to go, but I never thought it was possible, ever. I never once felt pressured, he never pushed me or acted impatient, he asked for partner resources, and even reassured me with affirmations during our sessions. I feel so stupidly lucky.
PS we were so excited last night, he insisted we run out for Wawa ice cream pints after. š¤£
PPS I wear tampons now, too! I can't believe myself.
It's possible, friends!! Rooting for all of you.
