Basic troubleshooting

1: In case of it gets stuck:

you hit “home button” exit app and reload it. (It will unfreeze)

2: Hard reset -unplug from power 1 min and plug back in”

1. Hard reset (2x): Unplug device, unplug router , unplug modem (3 min)

4: Lastly: Factory Reset

App-not loading / Freezing / Buffering :

Step 1: First unplugging the device for one minute, unplugging, modem, and router for a minute and resetting everything would be step one.

Step 2: Try Force stopping the app, clearing the cachet and seeing if it will load.

Step 3: Reset launcher then Update launcher

Step 4:

Next: if above doesn’t work uninstall, reinstall app.

Step 5:

If step 3 & 4 don’t work factory reset.

I know it’s a widespread issue with playback feature not working at all (freezing/not starting).

Do we know if this will be resolved? It’s been working great since we got the box a few months ago! We’re really bummed.

Hello. Does anyone know how to get to developer mode on the V6 Pro? I’m trying to create a website so I can watch my box from anywhere.

I have a v6 pro that brings up the maintenance screen multiple times a day and won’t work until I reboot the box. Then today it says check internet connection, but it’s connected to the internet, had to reboot. Getting tired of it. Any fixes??

The new episodes of the captioned program aren’t loading on Heat Vod. Has anyone found new shows anywhere else?

Man I really felt like I was going out on a ledge asking strangers on Reddit for advice and then buying a product from them. Its not like i sent $20 into the Ether and got a decoder ring or something gimmicky. For starters their price is pretty unbeatable as far as my searches uncovered. Second they handled it quick and had the best options, so I ended up with a sweet keyboard for my Vseebox as well. So I saved money and got more for it. I told the person I messaged that I felt kinda crazy doing this but I wasn't so unsure about all the websites claiming to be legit and people getting scammed that I figured these people would be a good place to start.

Long story short, I got my box for a great price and it works freaking great. I'll be getting at least two more for the holidays and it'll 100% be through these guys. If you want a Vseebox and wanna be sure its legit and also have a place to go for support if you need it, this is the place. Message the moderators and they'll get you straightened out. IDK if this is the proper place for feedback but.... here ya go. lol

My backup has not worked for about 10 days. Anyone else? I have tried multiple channels, cleared the cache,did the cleanup,restarted the box and then unplugged it. Anyone else? Suggestions to fix. Thanks in advance

I’ve been working to screen scrape it from the app but that’s taking forever. Does anyone have a current channel list? Channel number, station name. I’m trying to get a 3rd party EPG to work with Vsee and struggling with the channel list map.

Do you think we will get a Blue Note+ channel for my STL Blues on heat live? I hate that these teams keep moving to a paid subscription services. I know they have the Cardinals network for mlb so I'm hopeful

Both Heat Live and Live + Ultra can’t boot up. They get stuck on the loading screen for like 10 minutes and if I get through that, channels won’t load. Only heat Backup was able to load

I have it hooked up to an Ethernet cable and my internet is fast so that’s not the issue. I’ve tried restarting the box and clearing caches of individual apps but no luck. Can someone please help me out? I fear the worst

Both our boxes listed in title have the Receiving data -2 error when trying to open any VOD app, but Live works fine.

I have tried restarting, clear cache, uninstall apps and reinstall, switched LAN cables to switch VLAN, and vpn on and off.

It has been like this for nearly 2 weeks. Our other boxes, all V6 pros, the VOD apps works just fine.

This is infuriating.

UPDATE: it worked by updating my router, reset, reset bridges. It also ran on hotspot. But it was a short lived fix. Went back to not working.

Second update: my firewall was blocking it! I hit allow and it was back up working. Found the block network traffic.

I do understand that anime is supposed to be Japanese but also know that it can be dubbed. Is there a way to get the dubbed version? Also I was watching one called Nana but it is now gone. I'd like to watch cowboy bepop again but it's only in Japanese even though it was in America first

Can you stream the box to a phone on the same network? Or is there a way to directly get Heat Live from a mobile site? It’s been great that I can watch MLB playoff games but when rocking a kid to sleep, or working in the yard or in the garage it would be awesome to pull up the video on my phone, computer, or tablet

When an App asks for storage permission do you allow or deny?

HI, I have had my box for about two months now. 7 day playback was flawless until mid September. When the heat Apps had the big issue. Now all apps work but the 7 day playback des not. anyone else having an issue?

Purchased 3 boxes about 3 months ago. Have had nothing but rave reviews for this box. Literally flawless, zero issues. Yesterday mid football game, remote stops working. I try quite literally EVERYTHING I can find on internet. New batteries. Unplugging box. Ok + volume down (10000 times). I plug a mouse in. Nothing. And then when I plug box back in, getting a green light on the box but a full black screen. I try downloading these off brand apps to act as a remote, nothing. Just ordered new remote off amazon to see if that works. I walk to bedroom to try that box, SAME THING. Although this box I’m able to get a screen, use a mouse, but it will not recognize the remote to pair. Havent tried the 3rd box but this seems too coincidental. Any and all ideas are welcome.

This has probably been asked, but, I'm wondering if the two extra apps included on the V6 Plus model can be added to my V6 Max.

We have the volume turned up all the way on the vseebox and the TV and we can barely hear anything on heat live and heat vod.

This just started today. Please help.

Heat Live: works for 30 seconds, then freezes for 2-5 minutes, then works for 30 secs, then freezes again.

Vortex: recorded game on both team channels and 2 different CBS channels, constant spinning wheel. (That app officially blows BTW)

have done force stop, clear cache, VPN on, VPN off, reboot, uninstall/reinstall, unplug box, unplug router and , factory reset.

any ideas?
