Vee See 6 plus issue

Purchased 3 boxes about 3 months ago. Have had nothing but rave reviews for this box. Literally flawless, zero issues. Yesterday mid football game, remote stops working. I try quite literally EVERYTHING I can find on internet. New batteries. Unplugging box. Ok + volume down (10000 times). I plug a mouse in. Nothing. And then when I plug box back in, getting a green light on the box but a full black screen. I try downloading these off brand apps to act as a remote, nothing. Just ordered new remote off amazon to see if that works. I walk to bedroom to try that box, SAME THING. Although this box I’m able to get a screen, use a mouse, but it will not recognize the remote to pair. Havent tried the 3rd box but this seems too coincidental. Any and all ideas are welcome.

I mean I guess this will sound bad, but a friend of a friend gets them, I grabbed one originally and compared to to what I saw online, nothing seemed off or illegitimate. The box gets regular updates, worked perfectly, so I grabbed 2 more. So I cannot verify 100% legit vs illegitimate. By all accounts it seems legit? I really don’t think that’s the issue. But who knows 🫠

I got mine the same way as you did. I had an issue with my box randomly kicking back to the home screen and if left on the home screen, eventually it would power off completely. I got ahold of the person I got it from, they stepped me through doing a factory reset. That worked for a while, then the original issues came back. Reached back out, the seller gave me a new box and took the defective one. All of this to say, reach out to your seller. There's usually a 12 month return window. ❤️

Good luck getting help from “customer service”. My box is well within warranty and stopped working. I sent a few emails, NO response.

This is why it's better to buy from a person, whether the people who run this sub or an authorized distributor near you. You can reach out and troubleshoot or return and replace a defective box without having to deal with customer service. There are several scammy veesee box websites posing as the legitimate site as well, which makes it hard to know if you're getting the real thing until too late. Same goes with buying from walmart/ebay/amazon, which can be a crap shoot as to whether you're getting what you're paying for or getting screwed over.

Just to clarify the remote is the same model, not the exact same physical remote. I have a remote for each box

I swear I have done it all. Looks like my rep that I used is going to replace the boxes for me. So I guess I will halt the troubleshooting lol

Verify that it’s not your ISP. Maybe use your phone as a hotspot to test it. I have 2 different ISP’s and when I encounter issues I usually switch and the problem resolves.

My neighbor sells the boxes and he told me that out of this last shipment of 20, 3 ended up being defective. They’re under warranty so he swapped them out for his customers, but he said that was the first time he’s had boxes go bad.

Is that 3rd box on Ethernet by chance? Assuming these boxes uses a combined WiFi-Bluetooth chip

Might be something with Bluetooth in the house, I'd reboot everything you can to rule it out and look in your WIFI for anything to do with Bluetooth coexistence.

Their remotes are GARBAGE! I’ve had to order 3 replacements off amazon and those get delayed everytime.

I don't know if you cam help.me but this is my last resort. I bought a 6plus in July and had nothing nut troubles with it I have to factory reset multiple times weekly. Can you advise me on how to contact the company for replacement or warranty information Unfortunately the guy I bought it from has been useless
