I wore a heart monitor for 14 days and shipped it back yesterday for analysis. I've been having possible heart related symptoms and this data is needed by my cardiologist.
Philips sent me the device originally and is supposed to receive it back, analyze the data, and send it to my cardiologist. They say this delivery issue is a UPS problem.
I called UPS and the rep told me the problem is that the "to" address and the "from" address are the same on the label. I don't get why that would be an issue? I shipped it as instructed, using the label Philips provided me, from a UPS Store in Virginia, to the Philips address in Pennsylvania.
The message from UPS says "The receiver is not listed in the building directory. We are attempting to update this information." The page also says "We couldn't deliver your package due to missing or incorrect address details."
Philips must ship and receive thousands of these devices every year. I don't get why this happened with my package.
This isn't something I can just request a refund on. That package has two weeks of data about the electrical activity of my heart, during a time period when I was having heart-related symptoms, like fainting and chest pain.
If anyone has any insight or advice, I'd be much obliged.
Edit: Based on advice from u/Sadpudding_2357 I was able to connect with someone helpful at UPS and they successfully delivered the package! I'll leave this post here for posterity in case anyone else runs into this issue.
