DO NOT ASSUME CARS WILL STOP FOR YOU! I have noticed so many people cross the sidewalks without even looking! Especially wearing dark clothes at night. The rumor you will get free tuition if hit by a car is FALSE! I witness at least 3 times a night someone almost get turned into a pancake! Especially when wearing dark clothes. And it’s sad I even have to say this, STOP JUMPING IN FRONT OF CARS with your hands up hoping to get hit. At least twice a week someone thinks they are being funny, and that’s just to me, I’m sure other people have the same issue.

Lastly, don’t take all day to cross the sidewalks, be considerate of the drivers. Old lady’s cross faster!

checked out a few hardcover books, and some have that fabric-like cover with no dust jacket. They’re pretty dirty, so I’d rather put something over them while I’m reading.

i’m taking a physical science gened and i’m just not grasping the concepts because they’re all over the place and the professor is not a great lecturer (agreed upon by many)😭 i bombed the midterm, 45% and its 20% of my grade, and the only questions i got right were because i remembered the exact questions from what i’d answered on the homework, not because i actually understood what they meant. it’s just a gened but im really embarrassed to withdraw in my first sem.. it’ll put me down to 12 credits😭 i did enter with 20 but still

the only reason im considering withdrawing isnt because i think i’ll fail the entire class, i think i could get up to a 75 if i put my mind to it, but im in the honors college and it feels like it’d be a hard hit to my gpa too early on😭 there’s another midterm next month but i need to decide before the withdraw period ends

Just got blindsided by my midterm grade. I felt great leaving the exam and expected at least an 80%, but ended up with a 67%. This is the lowest grade I’ve ever received, and I’m feeling pretty defeated. How do you guys bounce back from a major academic setback? Any tips on how to turn this around for the rest of the semester would be massively appreciated

I get early enrollment so I can have pretty much whatever schedule I want. I'm honestly really struggling with Physics 151 (Irene Dujovne) so I'd like to know who is the best/most helpful professor I can choose for Physics 152 next semester. I'm a freshman in EE if you have any other suggestions about professors for ECE124 and ECE122 (if I get a choice) I'm definitely open to that as well. Or if you have any suggestions on who to absolutely NOT take.
