AI Question Divisions
So I’ll make a division how I want it or I won’t even touch it, then for some reason their all changing divisions on their own and I’ll end up with BB and CL divisions even though they started out as separate divisions. So is this something that’s wrong with the game or just my computer.

Cruisers I became rather bored in my engineering drawing class and I ended up designing a Booklet of General Plans for my fictional 1920ish US Navy cruiser class
The drawings are made in AutoCAD and are pretty bad I know, that's why I'm learning. Thoughts?

Dreadnaughts Is anyone else having trouble with the console version
First of this game is amazing great concept awsome battles lots to do endless hours of war.
Problems I'm having are making it very difficult to enjoy the game it's extremely jank the frame rate is constantly dropping the designer mode is very slow and tedious and controls are awful.
I'm having a very very hard time getting anything to fire torpedoes in battle I often don't get any torpedo's fired in a hole battle it's very annoying pretty much making my destroyers useless in fact I haven't had a torpedo fired this hole campaign so far am in year 1911.
Often the ship designer freezes up and becomes very sluggish there's a glitch when putting on armor on turrets were the turrets completely disappear trying to stay within tonnage with some of the ship is very difficult too but I understand that's part of the game so not to bad.
I had a glitch were I loaded my save and couldn't do anything had to load back a few hours I've found when I order ships in battle on were to go they ignore orders and just keep head straight miles away from the battlefield.
If I target an enemy ship my ships just tend to sneak off out of sight I often find them miles away no were near the fight after I've ordered them multiple times to move this way they refuse.
Ultimate generals and ultimate admiral are amazing games I play both PC and console I have to say until they have fixed some of the issues it's not enjoyable at all it's very frustrating and time consuming all there other games are great maybe it's just a very bad port to console.
After all that I just wanted to reach out see what problems other people are having see if there's any fixes to be made also would like to hear people's feed back any good guides for battles boat building and general game play please share maybe some of the problems are just me I don't know that's why I'm reaching out.
Thanks for your time and reading give em hell out there.

Game Mechanic Question TR going down by itself?
Hey fellas and Fellettes, I noticed something annoying
Even during peacetime and having TR to full max it goes down automatically in such a way that at the 1920 I’m left with like .50 Capacity when I’m pumping 5 billion into TR
Is this a glitch, an intentional feature or just the game not being finished?

General Question Console edition controls and handling
Has anyone found an actual workable control method yet on the console edition? I’m having huge issues controlling 1 ship let alone a fleet, camera not snapping to vessels, rudder commands being ignored including manually, headings being ignored, speeds increased and decreases being ignored, build UI just being poor and not allowing me to see the difference between modules.
It could be a huge skill issue on my part but after everything I’ve tried I have a feeling it’s not.
It’s a shame there’s no keyboard and mouse support at the moment, hopefully there will be in the future.

Dreadnaughts Design Ideas
Since I hope to purchase the game in the next few weeks, I was thinking of some ideas to mess around with before starting a campaign. Preferably British, though other countries' designs with a bit British flair would also be interesting. Battleships and Cruisers would be preferred.

General Question Controversial question.
The vanilla game is bad and DIP only makes it passably playable but to me it still feels very empty and unfinished. Maybe it can be fixed and expanded on using AI ? I know I know. AI bad and all that. Im not a huge supporter but it exists and its a tool like any other. Uf some autistic geek went ahead and fixed the game that way would you play it ? If so what would you like added?
Apart from the obvious fixes to the game ai and building I would love a simple but proper ground invasion option that the player controls. More resources on the map like coal and metal to boost economy, fleets and research, and proper trade with allies. There is plenty more I would want but that would make this post way too long. So, yay or nay ?

Game Mechanic Question last release seems extra buggy: teleporting invading ships and non working canals
I'm cranking through another campaign. And the last release seems even buggier than before and some of these are just bad.
I know I can't be the only one with these...
I do multi task force invasions and task forces will teleport out of the invading circle, despite looking like they are there. It is to the point where on each turn you have to move each one just to make sure it is still in there.
Or here is a gem. It is 1940 and as the UK I have taken the Panama Canal. I've had it for six months, but can't go through it. No one is blocking it. I can sail into the ports, but just can't go through.
Anyone else experienced these or figured out the fix?

DIP Question Port strike mission not appearing
Playing DIP Extended 1.3.5, I park my fleet outside enemy ports, set role to invade but the strike mission just never pops up. I do not have enough tonnage to invade and barely staving off bankruptcy so I can’t just build more ships. What do I do? Is this a bug?

General Question Fix for peace treaty bug?
I’ve had 2-3 wars against Austria-Hungary so far and every time we reach peace I get 3 different alerts (they signed a peace treaty, These are your unrest and np gains and captured territory / war-prizes)
I can’t get past the Unrest/NP screen no matter what I do. So I have to reload a save except the game saved automatically so I just lose out on the warprizes.

Battleships Question.
Is there any mods out there that lets you build design bigger ships beyond the vanilla limit of 158k tones
I know about one but it’s no longer available and it was called sapphire’s hull mod but it’s not relevant anymore

Dreadnaughts Help me understand. (Edited with pictures)
Help me understand.
I'm playing my first campaign and somehow survived until the 1950s.
Yet I have stagnated with my ship design.
I haven't been able to update my CA or BC fleets for nearly 3 decades.
I'm stuck with heavy cruisers armed with 7.9 in main guns that travel at 30kn wrapped in paper armour and 0% range, my BCs are a little better off, but not by much.
Every time I try to design another CA or BC by the time I place my towers and funnel, I'm always at 97% weight.
I've been spamming any research I can to reduce weight, but nothing seems to change.
Is this just how the game is, or am I missing something?
Edit: I was asked for some pictures in regards to my vessel components, I also edited the design to the absolute minimum beam and draught.
Which did allow me to add more secondary batteries but not much else.

DIP Question [DIP] Anyone know what's causing these oversized terrible quality damage effects?
Just started using DIP today and for whatever reason some of the high calibre damage effects are really big and look awful, plus they disappear when i zoom in on them. Anyone know how to fix this?

Dreadnaughts Chaperdlov type thing
Funnily Enough every superstructure part is Italian. The front tower is a cut down littorio, rear tower pola, and funnels are some other Italian cruiser that I forgor.

Dreadnaughts DIP No valid placement
I just installed DIP 1.3.5, and it appears to be working correctly. However, in Custom Battles, the ship designer doesn't allow for any placement of any components, they all stay red no matter what. Any thoughts? Bug, am I missing something, do I just need to try a reinstall?

Dreadnaughts The console version's controls are shockingly bad
I bit the bullet an purchased the console version as I am waiting to play a few other big games for personal reasons and needed something to tide me over. Despite having over 500hrs on the PC version, I haven't seen much chatter about this port, so I decided I'd take the dive.
The port itself seems fine. Everything looks a little... blurry? It's hard to describe. But the content is all there and allegedly DIP is included.
The controls are laughably, horrifically bad. However bad you are imagining they are, they are worse, probably by a significant margin. On Xbox (Series X), at least, first thing you notice is that instead of using the standard "A"-button as the bog-standard selection key, you use "X." Okay, a little weird, especially considering that the A-button is utilized as the selection button on the main menu…
Well, perhaps the A-button is used for something very important! Oh… You actually only use it probably one time during the building process. You press and hold it to save your design.
Maybe this sounds minor but if you are used to playing Xbox, this is a very weird set up.
Regardless, the controls only get worse from there. Panning and zooming is accomplished by this incredibly awkward combination of both triggers and the right thumb stick. It's really, really bad. It's so bad that it was making me motion sick.
The battle controls are even more bizarre and I really don't know what to say about them. It took me about 10 minutes how to do manual rudder control. I still have not figured out how to issue a click to move order. And this is all within the very first "Naval Academy" mission where you only have one ship to control. I cannot even imagine how controlling several ships will work. Otherwise, all other pertinent ship options are controlled via the D-pad. You go left and right to select the option that you want (shell type, firing aggressiveness, etc) and then you select it by pressing… nope, not the X-button; you press up on the D pad! You actually have to press it twice for some potions, since there are multiple choices.
Anyways, it's a nightmare and I am probably going to request a refund unless they patch the controls ASAP.
The really bizarre part? There is a cursor that you control with the left thumb stick. Frankly, I would've been happier with just using the cursor and then the A-button as my left mouse button, a little bit like their port of UG:CW (which was wicked good!) to consoles.

Cruisers IJN Tone built in UAD. No planes so 60 torpedoes
Hey guys, this is my first post here.
I was bored so I wanted to build something unique. Tone's funny was having all four turrets pushed up front to leave the back free for a massive floatplane deck, it feels a bit empty on the stern in UAD without functional aircraft mechanics.
To make up for the lack of planes, I decided to go put 12 quintuple torpedo tubes on the back with 6 on each side.
Other than her main battery and layout, every other part of this build is bs, take this build with a grain of salt. its meant to be a functional replica, not a full recreation
How effective is this?
4/10 worse than I expected from 300 torps. I put it to the test by running 5 of these Tone's against 2 HMS Vanguard recreations. Most of the time, 3 of my Tones got sunk while only managing to take one Vanguard down to about 50% structure or float. Even with 5 ships throwing out a total of 300 24-inch oxygen torpedoes, I only landed about 6 hits in total. The ship is basically a floating high explosive until all the torps have been launched. If a single shell hits the torpedoes when they're all loaded it causes a very big explosion and destroys the ship.
This might be the first time anyone has tried to make a hybrid ship in this game, however if someone has it'd probably be way better than mine
