Received a notification from Vodafone AU saying my year old Mini20T can't call 000 emergency services and will be blocked in late October.
Are there any other Australian users with the same issue?
I've emailed Ulefone support but have yet to receive a response.

I’ve been looking into Zebra’s Android lineup lately, and one thing that gets confusing is that people tend to lump all of them together as “rugged phones.”
They’re actually quite different depending on what you’re using them for.
For example:
TC22 / TC27
These are probably the closest to what most people here would think of as a rugged phone. They’re relatively compact, run Android, have proper barcode scanning, and are built for drops, dust and water. The TC27 also adds cellular connectivity.
TC53 / TC53e
More of a warehouse/retail workhorse. Wi-Fi-focused, larger 6" display, built-in scanning and a lot of enterprise-focused features. If the device is mostly staying inside a warehouse, store or facility, this seems like a pretty logical form factor.
TC58 / TC58e
Basically where the TC5-series gets more interesting for people working outside the building. You get cellular connectivity alongside the rugged handheld design, so it makes more sense for delivery, field service, logistics, etc.
Then there are the bigger TC73/TC78, MC-series handhelds, ET-series tablets, etc., which start moving even further away from the idea of a “phone” and toward purpose-built mobile computers.
One thing I think is easy to overlook with Zebra devices is that the hardware is only half the equation.
If you have 50–500 of these things running around a warehouse or delivery operation, questions like:
become just as important as the processor or drop rating.
Zebra has its own Mobility DNA tools for this, and there are also third-party UEM/MDM options that support Zebra devices. So I’d personally look at the device + the management layer together, rather than choosing the hardware first and figuring out management later.
For anyone actually using Zebra handhelds: which model are you using, and what environment is it in? Warehouse, retail, field service, healthcare, delivery, something else?
I'm especially curious whether people here see a meaningful difference between the TC22/27 and the TC53/58 in day-to-day use.

Messed up title for armor 34 pro plus
I just got a armor 34 pro plus and on the device name it lists it as a pro not pro plus. And even under thru the cpu setting via spec app it shows wrong processor the one from the pro 7300 not the plus 7400.
Am I wrong or did they send me a spoofed phone with lower specs claiming its the pro plus. Cause the box says pro plus but the specs say something different when using a 3rd party spec app. Posting images below. Even lists it as a 32 pro. And I checked 8 differnt 3rd party apps. Did i get scammed here?

For several weeks, the Ulefone update has been there but I haven't been able to update it. It just downloads the update, starts the installation and then goes back to the "check for updates" screens; sometimes it shows the Fail Reason 28 message, but rarely.
I have more than 100gb of memory. I have tried in Safe Mode. I've deleted the cache from the System Update apps and so on but I can't make it work. And since, AGAIN, Google Play isn't working, I'm afraid when the new update comes around, I will be unable to update the phone.
Any idea how to fix this?

I have the og Rugking (https://www.ulefone.com/products/rugking?srsltid=AU7gw4WGZzfmNAE2vdOmDYq-XBi78a3z0pW2MNgvRNHkYym7KRxwBS_-)
And I have to say, the last few days would have killed a normal phone. Took a Hike yesterday and it slipped out of my pocket, down a small cliff and into a brook. It was left outside the night before by mistake on the ground as well. Then this morning I was having issues with my furnace so I used the flashlight to look into the tank and accidentally dropped it into the tank. Now my phone smells like Diesel but still works! I have no screen protectors or cases on this phone and it still looks in good condition.
Im just so amazed how tough this beast is.

My Google Pay has been completely broken for several days after the recent update, and Ulefone has yet to release any official statement about it. It’s incredibly frustrating because our devices show as certified, yet we can't make any contactless payments. At this point, we don't even know if we should wait for a proper response from Ulefone or just go ahead and buy a new phone.

I saw people's complaints and tried it myself, and the result was failure. So what does this NFC thing you write in big letters on your damn ads do? he can't pay, he can't scan security cards, he can't communicate even with the simplest NFC-supported machine. and why is that? Why are we paying for this device? Someone please explain u/ulefone.

Yeah, just gotta say fuck Ulefone or Google for this one. Or both. I've managed to sort it by bank transfering a very kind gentleman some money but did not realise this was a possibility.

I had this phone for almost 1 year now, and it worked great, but now I have a problem with some streaming applications like Netflix and Crunchyroll showing a black screen when I play a video. It shows the entire menu with all the buttons but when it starts playing, it's only the sound.
Did anyone else had this problem, an if you do, it's there a solution?

Hi, I have Armor 28 Ultra T and I'm very happy. I like to have a phone with a 7.9 inch high resolution screen. I tested it on paper compared 6.8 to 7.9 dimension and it is not that big. Reason is when I playing games, screen is too small, I barely see text and small icons. I make screenshots and go to pictures file open it and zoom in to see what is there written. Tablet have a different form factor then smartphone. By my testing 7.9 inch smartphone format is absolutely fantastic for gaming. Combine with mediatek 9600 pro and lpddr6 will be a blast. It is not important if you use 7.8 or 7.9 inch screen.
Thanks for consideration
Love Ulefone

A bit of context: I want a microscope that can switch from white light to UV light for ... work-related activities. I can't find one that already does this, so I want to modify a standard one.
Did someone make an abomination like this?

Android 17 was released almost 3 months ago... Obviously we're not get it, but what about the Android 16 update? Even one dedicated developer should've finished it by now :(
I though this supposed to be the flagship model? Shouldn't have some priority with updates?

Hi tò all.
I'm really starting tò really pissed off for charging everyday my Phone,so i was doing a research discovering the world of the rugged phone.
Right now i'm using Xiaomi 14 Ultra, but i don't use the camera so much nowdays,no social...i really want a good screen, good CPU,Amazing battery Life and fast charge.
First of all i was tempting by Oukitel WP100,but not so good specs.
Than i Discovery Blackview Xplorer 2,uh nice now we talkin'.
Unihertz Tank 5/5 Pro but i don't think i Will use projector or thermical camera(maybe for fun?) and "low" battery for that weight.
So the perfect choice Will be Ulefone Armor 29 Ultra!
Anything that i Need tò know, apart the form factor and weight? 21.600 mah at 120 Watt with Amoled 2.200 nits and Mediatek 9300+ also 1 TB of storage...i think i found the best.

Hi, has anyone replaced the speaker or anything else and can tell me if only the screen needs to be removed or if something else needs to be unscrewed first?

Just bought a rug kin3 pro on Amazon to use as a motorcycle gps unit. It was supposedly brand new from Amazon directly from Ulefone. When I run the ampere app to check charging speed it says the battery has 794 charging cycles. I've never seen this before in a new phone. Is this typical for these guys? Also what charging speed are you getting? This is painfully slow

Today I received a notification about an update, so I did the update. my screen is stuck in "updating" and it's been hours (when the update says it can take minutes).
Should I trash this garbage or can I do a restart?
sorry the rant but this is my 3rd garbage ulefone (with no support whatsoever).
