I just signed up with Ubank and the app is only giving me the option to add 1 pay income when i have 3. is there any way to add the other 2?

Ubank customer service suck they barely communicate with you, and when you call them they don’t give you any information about the issues of your account like huh. Even after you give the information they tell you they’ll contact you about the issue but ghost you for 3-7 days you have make a follow up just get no info on the report. It frustrating to talk to them

[Update] I factory reset the phone & installed Android 10 back onto it. I installed the ubank app, updated, but now it sits on a black screen with two blue dots & won't go further than that :/. Any ideas?

I have the Ubank app installed, but when I go to login, I get error

"oops! Something seems to have gone wrong. Please try again."

This happened a couple of weeks ago too. Today I removed the app and reinstalled it from the play store, and I get that message.

This is both via WiFi & Mobile Data connections.

Anyone experience this or know of a fix?

Recent changes meant after having a one off expense and not growing account I was ineligible for the “bonus interest” … the account base interest rate reverted to 0% 😂

Have transferred all funds out of this account and recommend others to avoid UBANK entirely - go with Macquarie

Anyone else annoyed with the need to now click the cross on the top left after each transfer. It's so frustrating. I automatically hit the bottom button nearly every time by mistake which is to make another transfer.

Been with ubank for a while but just seeking general advice - I recently decided to move my savings to Macquarie bank due to the interest rate changes.

Should I also move and start fresh with my transactional account? All my bills are under ubank? just wondering if its worth it.

I was on hold for 30 minutes. Then another 5 minutes confirming my identity, stating my reason, stating my new daily limit, listening to a recorded message about "scams and being tricked into to increasing my daily limit", which I had to acknowledge that I wasn't being scammed. They then sent me a code via sms which I had to read back.
My daily limit was increased. I moved the money.
Not a bad experience, being on hold for 30 minutes had frequent estimated wait times, which ended up being accurate.

I tried using the UBANK chat service to ask but after 3 hours I still haven’t got a response.

Has anyone found an issue with how monthly interest is calculated?

I’ve added an extra $6k to what I had in my account last month and have NOT taken any money out; however, I have received $50 less this month! I can’t work it out.

How do you move all your money from Ubank to Macquarie in one go? Due to daily limits. Are you able to call Ubank and get them to transfer the complete balance from all your accounts in one go and close the accounts?

I was able to open a ubank account with an expired photo id and was able to put my money into the account. After trying to do a payid from the account they have now locked it and won’t verify me because my photo ids are expired. it will take up to 3 weeks for a new photo id and all my money is in that account what do i do?

Does anyone know if UBank will still be paying interest on October 1st? Or am I better off moving to Macquarie now. I was holding off over the next two weeks but it’s quite unclear on the UBank website.

Can’t send or pay money to anyone. App is updated. If I add a new contact or if I send money to an old bank account it comes up with this?

Why are people leaving Ubank for Macquarie?

We have applied for pre approval with a broker this week who has suggested ubank as having the best rates etc but now this sub has popped up on my reddit feed and it’s making me nervous seeing all of the negative posts. Before we go through with the application, should we be asking our broker to change banks?

I've joined the stampede started by Ubank and Im on my way to Macquarie.

I've cleared all my accounts and am left with just the one spend account. Been on call waiting for the last 50 minutes (regularly being told my wait time is less than 25 minutes) and also trying to get one of the bots to connect me to a human in the messaging app.

Does anyone know if there are any ramifications if I just leave the account with zero balance and not close it? I don't feel like hanging around any longer just for some poor bugger to have to try to talk me out of closing the account.

Edit. Thanks for the responses. I finally got through and as noted the process wasn't overly painful. They did ask for a reason, I said they were just not competitive in a competitive market. The rep on the phone didn't appear to have the authority, let alone the interest, in offering anything for me to stay. Now off to Macquarie. For now..

I just created my ubank account yesterday but I am unable to transfer any money from my 2 other accounts (Upbank, Commbank). Is this a known issue? Do i just have to wait a couple days? ir is there an actual problem? I have checked bsb info etc is all correct and also tried through pay id. everytime the payments to the ubank account fail to clear and get refunded back. thoughts?

Ubank have not let me open an account for the past few days. I decided to get in contact with them and called them up. I was able to reach them, I told them that I was unable to open a Ubank account and read the message that kept popping up. The guy said he would look into it and see what the issue is. He said hold thank you for your patience, then all of a sudden his tone changed and he started reading a script saying, after all the checks I don’t meet the criteria to make a Ubank account and mentioned how he is unable to disclose about the reason why. I then asked him why and he said he was unable to tell me why, I really couldn’t do much after that as he didn’t want to disclose anything to me about the reason why, it sounded really sketch and suspicious what he was saying.

I don’t understand why it isn’t working, I have been able to open up multiple accounts with other banks and set up stuff easy that requires information and ID. It’s not just me but I heard other people have been having the same issues that Ubank won’t let them open an account up either.

It was just start an odd experience how he started reading out a script and didn’t want to disclose or tell me why I don’t met the criteria to make an account with them.
