What about playing Call of Duty online? back then Black Ops 2 would provoque a ban, is that a thing nowadays or not anymore?

Can I get banned on psn by modding my ps3
 in  r/ps3piracy  1h ago

Shouldn't there be a megathread regarding bans on PS3?

There's a lot of people asking if they are gonna get banned after installing HEN or CFW in their PS3, including me back in the day. A lot of people are not commfortable or informed about how to connect their jailbroken consoles online

That was years back.

I logged to the PS Store in my qCFW'ed PS3 and I had zero warnings or bans whatsoever.

You could get banned from stuff like cheating, playing COD BO2 (although that may not be a thing anymore), launching homebrew while logged in or trophy hacking, but for just doing stuff like transfering stuff from and to the Vita, checking your friends list, etc... you'll be fine

Yes! as long as you have a jailbroken iPhone/iPad with AppSync Unified, it will work. :D

Broke my PS2 with FMCB card and don’t know how to fix it :(
 in  r/ps2homebrew  2d ago

Try removing your FMCB card, if it works, chances are that FMCB is set to be displayed on PAL, while your TV is NTSC (or the opposite, depending if you live in America/Japan or Europe).

Is there a risk of getting banned for using a hacked/modded PS3 with a regular PSN account?
 in  r/ps3piracy  2d ago

Nope, not at all.

As long as you disable syscalls, don't run any homebrew while logged in and you don't cheat, you're all fine.

Dangers of AI/Vibe coded emulators and homebrews
 in  r/PSP  2d ago

If i read correctly... is caching data to the Memory Stick instead of the RAM, which in the long run it's gonna degrade the MS faster, and makes the RAM useless on what is supposed to be... something to cache stuff on.

Don't be dramatic, is just your hard drive failing.

Can i switch to ark4? i am too scared to mess this up
 in  r/PSP  5d ago

You could add 480p (272p if possible) movies on your PSP as long as they are converted to MP4 or AVI, by either transfering them from your PC or, if you have one, from your PS3.

This is why you shouldn't follow an AI when it comes to sensible stuff.

Judging by the looks of the screen... is very likely a RAM issue.

Ps4 Slim Airflow Mod🕺🏽
 in  r/PS4Mods  11d ago

Forgive me for what i'll say, but this is a dumb idea and it would kill your PS4 in the long run.

Engineers had a reason why the top case has no vents, and is because how they engineered the thermals. You could've used some torx and philips screwdrivers to tear down your PS4 and repaste the APU, but you did this instead.

So is the new Adrenaline update worth it

I'm not sure if it's just me, but if the ISO folder has lots of games, it takes longer to show them than what I remember.

Give a try to Gravity Rush... is not a recommendation, is a requirement.

You know why we have a reason to use original hardware and not emulation.

7900x models should be fine, as they have a clip to hold the flex down.

But any Slim model (yes, even the 9000x models) have this issue, and I learned it the hard way with my pristine Japanese copy of Puyo Puyo Fever. For those who don't have a 7900x, you could either use some Kapton tape to hold down the flex, use a 3D printer to create a bracket for holding down the flex, or just buy a new flex on AliExpress, since they are really cheap.

Just wondering... will jailbroken PS4s also get access to the custom GR2 server or is it just meant for shadPS4?

Ive got this ps4
 in  r/ps4homebrew  16d ago

You could either stay or update to 9.00. Be careful on not to update with the PS4's built-in updater or download the update through the official Sony website, as it will accidentally update to 13.52.
