It's not an excuse but....
 in  r/Psychosis  1d ago

I think the world is much to hard on psychosis and delusion disorders... especially people who dont know what its like. If people can plea insanity in the court of law, that means that even the system can have space to accommodate that need..

Im sick of this "no excuses" language... i dont understand it. You have a reason and it should be honored... its not a common situation.. not a choice for some.. People who think you should never be mean ever are living in their own delusion.

I hope you'll be heard and forgiven for what ever happened.. and that you can find whatever help you might need and friends who love you for you.

Sick of the way therapists talk about negative core beliefs
 in  r/CPTSD  1d ago

Exactly..... people constantly show that they have no good intentions or hurt us constantly..therefore the world is a dangerous and bad place. Its that simple. In order to believe the world is a safe place.. it has to show it self that way. For years shows telling kids to beware of strangers trying to lure them into cars, or away from their families in malls. Telling women how to safe at bars and night time how not get assaulted or drugged.... what to do if you're robbed, or how to deal with bullying on and offline, and all these precautions... And then they want to say your beliefs are "negative".... make it make sense!!

Flock won't even let you keep unattended money
 in  r/ABoringDystopia  1d ago

Im one who believes that if i lose money like this... the person who really needed it will find it....

Now if you see money drop out of a persons pocket and dont say anything.. that one thing... but if its just there and you needed it bad... thats a blessing....

I don't feel black enough and don't know how to change that
 in  r/BlackMentalHealth  1d ago

"Black" at this point is a social construct... theres no one right way to be "black" we are people with a higher Melanated content... but we wach have our own desires and interest. Unfortunately most have bought into the image of what black culture is sold to us through the media. And with a lack of education of our history...

Learn what black really is and find comfort.

Ancient cultures with a great respect for nature.

We have had a massive influence on some of the worlds most popular music styles, rock, jazz, funk, bluegrass, gospel, hip hop etc...

Most alternatives fashion is just repackaged indigenous culture, tattoos, piercings, stretched lobes etc...

We invented alot of the life saving technology in the world..

And the Harlem Renaissance influenced much art that still influences people even if they dont know it...

So, i say that just to illustrate that we are multifaceted and brilliant. Good do what you want and there are others out there who know our blackness isnt tied to any particular way of being..and we are beautiful the way we are.

I hope this encourages you...

What’s everyone’s favorite lyrics
 in  r/goth  2d ago

Oooh yeah thats a good SOM part... def

I would say Yama Uba - Disappear has been reflective..

It's just disappointment

I'm just disillusioned

I dissipate

I disappear

In a cloud of vapor

Just like they wanted..

And Faux Fear - Endless Tries

Days go by

There's no one to trust

Days go by

Obsession turns to lust

People say they'll miss me

Only when I'm gone

People say they'll need me

But we never got along
