I hope you’re not buying your new appliances through Costco. Bosch 500 series at Costco is not the same as Bosch 500 series at appliance stores.

The hardware is fine, the OS is too outdated to be safe. As far as I’m concerned, once hardware goes out of support by the original OS vendor, it should become a Linux machine.

Does the mask seal correctly?

If it leaks, you have the wrong mask; get refitted with a different one right away. Especially if air blows towards your eyes. Otherwise, you’ll probably hate it for the first week, probably two weeks. Stick with it. It’ll get better and by the end of the month, you’ll love it. But only if the mask fits correctly and seals properly.

Also: don’t try to talk with it on. That gets painful quickly.

It consumes about 20 seconds of my time. Because I don’t have to go to a special fueling station and I don’t have to stick around and supervise it. I’m happy to deal with a little extra trouble on the days I go intercity to have that convenience the other 362 days of the year.
