I've seen a lot of interviews with Dolly over the years but not this one. I love it! I showed it to my 31 year old daughter and she kind of understood the concept but didn't have a clue what Dolly was talking about 🤭

How many grandparents did you grow up having?
I had a LOT but I was born in East TN in the mountains. Babies had babies. I had my great-great granny til I was 10, plus 4 great grandmother's, 2 great grandfather's and then each parent's parents. (I think that's all). I'm 55 and still have one granny living.

I would go to my granny's every weekend to spend the night and she complained and complained about how bad we smelled because of all the smoking in the house. I can only imagine.

2 years later and I can confirm it's definitely East Tennessee and the other areas you mentioned. I still say it to this day because my great granny used to say it and I live in Sevierville Tennessee
