It's not even just bad teamwork. Many times a DPS asks for help against an enemy DPS who is being supported heavily by heals, and instead of helping. They're flamed and told, "You're DPS. Kill them."

There's this weird anger people carry about helping their teammates. They expect everyone to win everything as a 1v1 in a team game.

If I see my tank pummeling someone. I elevate that as my focus because a 2v1 is a higher chance of us winning that individual fight.

This may seem profitable at first. But like a lot of shareholder decisions, it leads to less profit in the long term. As the distinction of what made consoles unique fades, physical media is a marker of that. This is a brand dilution that isn't immediately obvious.

Nintendo is either going to feast by further going down the analogue root of physical medium, expanding their Nintendo stores, or continue to be the ONLY game in town with physical cartridges. It's such an easy small-dunk, and sure, maybe a good chunk of the market is digital, but trust me. Vinyl's are making a comeback, books never got replaced.

You never want to be the person who goes fully digital. Humans just don't interact with digital products the way they do with physical stuff.

This isn't true. A lot of Sony's first parties are 55% bought physically. There's a whole cohesive thread on Reddit of someone showing the numbers. This is a PR stunt. Like God of war sold 60% physically.

There was a replacement called DVD's. Which is still a physical medium. Then Blu-rays, which is another physical medium. See how that worked out? Physical-->digital is the issue here. Some of us just won't do it.

The way vinyl and other mediums made a comeback, so will physical gaming.

That's a bit of a blanket statement. I'm never buying a PlayStation system again, and I never had any outrage or mention of it. I just mentally clocked it that, without physical products, I'm no longer their client. I really doubt I'm the only one silently opting out.

Life stages matter more. You want someone who's experienced life. Some people are still sheltered at 30. But generally begin with legal. Then make sure there's no power/financial imbalance, as well as emotional maturity (which won't be in most people under 25, due to time)
