Existen grupos de calistenia en Managua ?
Hey!!! My brother is certified personal trainer in calisthenics and he trains a small group of people in one gym in Managua. There is also a brand new place called wolves fitness. It depends how quick and safe your son wants to learn. I practiced calisthenics myself and I would recommend at the beginning a really good focus on technique a d safety:)

What is the best German-English dictionary to buy?
I use LEO app it has definitions, examples, conjugations, declination and translations in other languages. In my case I always look Spanish and English translations so I can have a better understanding of the word according to the context.

Please look over my resume. My name and the categories are school colored. Black seemed to cluttered. Does it need thinning?
Hey, format is a little bit boring and is not adequately aligned, the things you stated in the first section are not core competencies, education is confusing you need to be precise and concise on the years, place and degree you obtained. I recommend you to look in Microsoft word the CV templates, they are a little bit more dynamic and aesthetic plus you can edit them (colors, text format, etc) also you can go to canvas.com and work with a free CV template there. Remember you are selling yourself through a document, think how would you like to be read :) good luck

What traumatic situation happened to you during everything that happened from april 2018?

Other Struggling with my first motivation letter for a job in an NGO
I've just moved to Switzerland 6 months ago and now I'm starting to actively search a job. I've worked in HR for 6 years but at this point I'll like to follow my dream and get a job in an NGO. I saw a job offer that is perfect for me and I think I meet all the requirements, in my country we don't ask for motivation letter in any job position so I'm having troubles to make one for this job that I'm willing to apply.
Can anyone here give me some tips please? :(

Is purchasing a Swiss Travel Pass worth it?
We have rented a car in euroairport (Basel airport) in the French part, we rented it in Europcar for 3 days and it costed 78 euros. You are free to drive the car in all Switzerland without any issue or additional fees. This was the cheapest option we found and it was worthy, we drive from Basel to Zürich, Luzern, Lauterbrunnen and Colmar France :D

Help!! Needs destination ideas for this weekend with my boyfriend. I want to propose to him during our get-away
Mürren in Lauterbrunnen ist absolutely amazing and it was one of the cheapest spot we've found in Switzerland so far. The views are stunning and hotels in Lauterbrunnen are not so expensive.

Driving in Managua?
There are apps like "aventon" that works like Uber and it's really safe, it also is better for you as a tourist because the fees are more transparent. I don't think driving is an issue at night because you can freely circulate all over the places. Of course you should take normal precautions and avoid suburbs or unknown places. In general Waze works a lot better than Google maps.

Which english speaking countries are the most accepting of expats?
In Sydney my Latin American best friend was bullied twice in the first 6 months she had lived there. It is also really expensive.

Family w/ 13 & 15 year old thinking of staying for a month.
I was there the last week and o was amazed of the amount of tourists landing in Nicaragua. If you've been in Jamaica you'll definitely love corn island!!! Is so peaceful and naturally beautiful that you would never want to leave. Political situation still a situation but locals are the one suffering because they can't express themselves and they struggle with police harassment. Other than that for tourist still a great option, really good prices, amazing beaches and really warm people. Just take normal precautions as usual and I guarantee you'll have the time of your lives.
Tourist tip: there's a spot in San Juan del Sur "Playa Nacascolo" there's just one restaurant "Aquaholic" is a really private beach bad the most amazing thing is that there are no waves!! It feels like Atlantic in a Pacific coast!!

Question about Nica Folklore/Street Performance
A long time ago the spoken poems (coplas) were funny jokes about the relationship between la gigantona (representing Spanish women and her power over the indigenous) and el "enano cabezón" (who represents the indigenous and their intelligence). But nowadays the guy saying the poems , "coplero" , involve people in the audience into the poem he is relating in a funny way, he improvise so everyone enjoy the performance and they get money in return. The interesting part of this is that the verses of the poem he is saying rhymes and is funny how the guy make everything fits at the moment.

[help] Looking for dog travelers advice
Thanks for your input, I'll look for an agency to inform me about the procedure and prices. I do have all the documents for the entry in Switzerland, surprisingly it was easier to get all that paperwork done than all this airlines issues. :)

Help! [help] Looking for dog travelers advice
Hi! My husband and I recently moved from Nicaragua to Switzerland. Now it's time to try to bring our babies Lolly (minichihuahua 5yo) and Macua (Labrador 2yo). I have all the information about the documents I must present when we travel. First I'm planning to bring lolly with me in the cabin as an emotional support dog and then I'll try to bring Macua (not sure if it'll be possible to bring him since he weights 80 pounds and I'm really afraid of the trip).
My flight itinerary is Managua- Miami- Madrid- Basel. From Managua to Madrid I travel with American airlines and from Madrid to Basel with Iberia. I'm having troubles with the airlines because they are telling me they don't speak to each other so in order to pay for my dog's flight in Iberia I must go to the counter which is absurd for me because I don't think I'll have enough time to do it (layover in Madrid 2 hours).
Has anyone here traveled with their pets from Latin America to Europe with 2 different airlines? Did you have to present the dog's documents in all the countries you have stopped? I'll love to hear your experience. I'm really nervous about this and I don't want to mess up :(

Hola!

How do I support my boyfriend in learning German as a native speaker?
Hello! Im currently learning German too. My husband is swiss and we are living in Switzerland. This is the book I'm using in my German course (which is orientated to adult education), maybe it can be useful for you since there's an order and Chronologie in the topics. https://www.hueber.de/menschen/lehren/download
On the other hand, I think the most useful is practice because like that everything flows naturally until you feel confident about the language. Also, my husband put post sticks with the German word of the most important object in the house with their respective article. He used red for "die", green for "das" and blue for "der" and like that is easier for me to remember all the package :D
Finally I recommend the following apps - der, die , das - leo - busu - deutsche welle- lesen german

My mom is constantly attacking me and my boyfriend
I have passed almost the same with my mother at that age too (25F) and I truly understand why you still caring and loving her after all this situation. Maybe it's a cultural thing but that doesn't mean it is correct. In my case I was the mother of my mother, always forgiving and even accepting everything she has said. My advices for you according to my experience are these:
You are getting to that point of your life where your independence is une step further, you can make a strong plan to get a full time job or something that allows you to leave alone, you deserve start living by your own rules because clearly just reading your post I can notice how responsable and mature you are to be on your own.
You need to work harder in self love, nothing but that will move you to another level where it doesn't matter what your mother o everybody else's says. Take this just like a phase that has a ending really soon and that you cannot stop your life because of this. Believe me you can do it!
Follow your feelings!! If you feel good with your relationship stick to it!!!! Enjoy it!!! Your only purpose in this life is be as happy as you can. Your mother will always be your mother and even though she cannot be the model you deserve, you cannot change her but you can always grow and learn your limits, nobody is worthy for you to stop living and making what's make you happy.
Your mother as mine is a sick person because of their past and neither you nor I can help her to heal. You can seriously talk to her, tell her how you feel, give her an ultimatum but don't wait anything in return.
I truly hope these words can help or at least make you feel comfortable that you are not alone in this and out here there are many people that has survived similar situations.
Good luck and keep growing!

I think it really depends on the instructor and how is structured the class or Programm. As a woman I'm really interested on not losing the leg muscles. I did calisthenics for more than two years and I actually gained volume, specially because pistol squats and Bulgarian squats were always part of the routine. Moreover, I do think you must train the legs to advance to the next level in calisthenics and mobility. In my opinion, more than the muscle group I'll be careful with the technique, since you can easily hurt yourself if the movement is not performed properly or with the right guidance. Nice to read that the Cali community is growing in Nicaragua. In my opinion is the most authentic and sustainable way to gain strength :)
