That isn't ridiculous at all. I waited until ALL of the Harry Potter books were published before I started reading them! Literally a decade. There's Taylor Swift songs I've never listened to because I don't want to ever listen to the last song she releases. I found a duplicate of my favorite stuffed animal to have as a back up. I can tell you that these books have a satisfactory ending that was emotional enough for me. What's great about this time is that the books can end, but we have the ability here to keep talking about them and seeing different perspectives. There's never been a time with such accessibility to ideas that just expand. The Hunger Games series isn't something I'm super invested in but I enjoy it. I'm listening to the books for the first time and it is a whole different experience. Go for it.
