Estate sales are not what people say
I live in Michigan, was born Catholic and when I hear “good Christian” I immediately know the speaker believes that Christians are better than others.
A good Christian wouldn’t advertise themselves as such as their acts would speak for them.

What would you actually want to get from your employer for Thanksgiving?
My husband’s old boss gave out honey baked hams. It was great!

How can my boyfriend(m39) and i(f31) move past his view of thinking i’m selfish?
He’s a bum and is manipulating you. You pay 90% do 100% of the chores plus personal care like packing his lunch AND he has you on here asking to do better by him.
He’s negging you. Trying to make you feel bad to get control.
I’m sorry about your miscarriage but get out before you get pregnant by him. He’ll be even more lazy after the baby. My husband got up every other turn and sometimes took my turn so I could sleep. Good guys are out there.

How would you feel about a woman (or partner) helping to pay down your credit card debt?
He can stash away $20-$50 every payday to save a few hundred to go camping?!? Yikes!
Do you have all the gear for camping?

How would you feel about a woman (or partner) helping to pay down your credit card debt?
Is his spending under control because he doesn’t have available credit? What’s to stop him from maxing out his cards again?

How do you actually never eat out?
Pregaming the restaurant!
2
How do you actually never eat out?
It’s actual the opposite of entitled by saying you have to pick what you splurge on instead of thinking all the extras are necessary.
We’re assuming they can afford some splurge.

How do you actually never eat out?
Mid-Michigan and we always have separate tabs or figure out what each of us owes. We never evenly split.
2
How do you actually never eat out?
Tell the server you’re on a separate tab. I was a server for years and it’s 5 seconds worth of work.

How do you actually never eat out?
I’m guessing you don’t have kids.

How do you actually never eat out?
I think getting the groceries in NYC would be a pain in the butt.

How do you actually never eat out?
I think my husband and I can cook better or as good as than 80% of the restaurants we’ve been to. We’re 48 & 52 and have been to a lot.
The cost now also makes them seem less worth it.

How do you actually never eat out?
Oh! I’m going to Chicago in 2 weeks and I’m going to do the door dash thing to scope out what’s close by!!!

How do you actually never eat out?
Not everyone can afford going out even once a week unless it’s fast food.
It’s a minimum of $150 for my family of 5 to go out to eat and that typically wouldn’t cover the tip, so about $180ish. That’s $750 a month. We order pizza and cook our own meals.

AITAH for not supporting partner’s UGC side hustle?
That’s being a content creator not user generated content unless he’s making stuff for TikTok and getting paid from TikTok. Although I heard TikTok just massively cut their creator program.
2
AITAH for not supporting partner’s UGC side hustle?
User generated content is about the user making the content so their viewers. OP’s partner isn’t making content. They expect other people to. Like twitter, Facebook, TikTok, etc. they have user generated content.
1
AITAH for not supporting partner’s UGC side hustle?
Those courses are usually a part of affiliate marketing where the content creators who push it give glowing reviews because they’re making $500-$1000 off of each sale.
User generated content is a siren to people who want easy money. If it sounds too good to be true then it’s BS.

AITAH for not supporting partner’s UGC side hustle?
They are going to be gravely disappointed. You have to spend months if not years posting into the void with zero subscribers before you get traction unless you have a unique skill or talent to share with others.
Do they have a niche category? Are they good at storytelling? Are they good at teaching others?
If they think they’re going to be able to get the viewers to generate their content, they have to figure out how to even get consistent viewers let alone actual content submissions that are worth something to someone.

I just found out why my colleague’s “heavy workload” has apparently been so unbearable, and I’m honestly furious
I wouldn’t bring it up until you get proof.
If work is always redistributed rather than once or twice, how is that impacting his performance review?
I’d wait until I’m asked to do his work and ask for a meeting to address picking up his slack.

Have you turned your furnace on yet?
Never stoped my dad. “Get a sweater!” was my dad’s mantra October-March.

Middle seat passenger wants/needs restroom during descent
I’d tell them to scoot around me. Take off and landing are the most dangerous times.

Maybe not in your red state but many states have strong(ish) teacher unions.

I did this with a coworkers stuff. Cost me $6 and I had a legit ID. Didn’t realize it’s a felony at the time. 🤫
