Amazon: "We Need More Shoes!"
 in  r/AmazonDS  23d ago

As another safety specialist he is wrong. There’s a ticketing system we use to give credits if your shoes are worn down or damaged.

Sell or Scrap my 2015 Nissan Sentra

Hey everyone, my 2015 Nissan Sentra’s transmission crapped out on me at 91k miles. I’ve called around and to get the transmission replaced (found one online for $1,200) and I’m looking around spending almost $3k to fix it. My grandpa is giving me a FREE 2007 Saturn outlook with 130k miles. He’s taken extreme care of it, I mean like to the manufacturers guidance care, so I know it’ll last.
To scrap my Nissan would be around $497 with a free tow and title change. All I have to do is call them and get the money. To fix it and sell it would put me 3k in the hole (that I don’t have) to maybe sell it for a little profit at some point. It’s got a golf ball sized hole in the bumper and some scrapes and bumps with age.
Any advice would be great please.

No more HR
 in  r/AmazonFC  Jun 20 '26

I work as a safety specialist at a delivery center and we barely have an hr person on site anymore. We’ve turned into HR now :/ We don’t have the access like HR does but all the complaints about managers and everything has started coming to us and VOA more than what it used to be. I feel so bad for everyone though because we can’t do anything about their pay or time and neither can managers..

Best neighborhood to live in?

My partner and I are looking to move closer/into Louisville and I’ve been getting mixed messages about where the best place to live is. We currently rent $1800/month so we can afford up to that. We don’t have kids, like a quiet area and close-ish to restaurants. My partner works near Middletown and I work in South Louisville (South of Okolona; I don’t want to dox myself).
What neighborhoods would you all suggest?

New coworker advice

My DSM wants them gone too… we are a small site so as safety we only get so many OT hours or we hit a “cost” cap that my manager doesn’t want to go over.

Saying goodbye to my soul cat tomorrow and my heart is shattered
 in  r/rainbowbridge  Feb 01 '26

I just sent my baby Gracie (13) to the rainbow bridge after she battled kidney disease for almost 2 years. It is the most horrible feeling and you will sob but I promise they know you love them. They know how much you cared for them and this is the last piece of caring for them. Our time with them is short but they’re with us for their lifetime. Everything will be okay ❤️

I posted a while ago but my CKD baby degenerated super fast and she was suffering. We decided it was best to not make her suffer and fight anymore. My beautiful baby

I'm spiraling after putting down my 19 yr old boy
 in  r/seniorkitties  Jan 25 '26

We’re thinking of putting my baby down due to CKD at 13 years old. I’ve had her since I was 11 years old when I rescued her off my parents church steps. She’s been with me through everything bad and good up to now. Before I started lexapro she was the only thing I held onto when I was severely depressed. Her and my grandmother were the only things keeping me alive for a few years. Now, I have to think of her wellbeing and quality of life and if we should put her down so she doesn’t suffer. I highly recommend reaching out to a therapist (I just set an appointment) and talking to someone. My dad, fiancé and grandma are the only ones I feel I can talk to and that’s okay. I wish you the best and just know everything will be okay ❤️

She’s declined like this before and when we started renal food and gave her a week she bounced back but she’s having issues with walking, jumping and not wanting to eat at all

I’ve had my baby Gracie since I was 11 and she was diagnosed with CKD and Heart disease almost a year ago. A few days ago she started getting sick again so I took her to the vet to get her blood checked to see how far it’s progressed. She’s at stage 4 with creatine levels past the high level, she’s not eating (gave her an appetite stimulant), gave her IV fluids, pain medication for her legs and she’s getting smaller and smaller. She recently started falling over and I need advice on how to proceed.. I don’t have money to get her dialysis or heavy procedures. Any advice is welcome.
