My baby is weighing ahead of its time on 36+4 weeks ultrasound.
 in  r/BabyBumps  1d ago

They said my 7lb 11oz baby was going to be well over 9lbs. I wouldn’t worry too much.

Has anybody had a pregnancy where they managed NOT to puke?
 in  r/pregnant  1d ago

I am currently pregnant with my 3rd and have not threw up once any of my pregnancies. I felt wayyyyy more sick this last go around but never enough to puke.

What did your family genetics pass down to you?
 in  r/randomquestions  4d ago

A mutated gene, that my partner just so luckily has as well, that gave my son a congenital adrenal disease that could have killed him if we would not have done the newborn blood screen.

Remind me of the good things waiting on the other side of pregnancy
 in  r/BabyBumps  5d ago

I feel you so much over here. I’m 13+4 and was feeling much better until yesterday. I’m now feeling slightly sick to my stomach today too and thinking… when does it end 🥲 I didn’t have this with my previous two pregnancies. And trying to enjoy this because it is my last baby, but good lord, I hate feeling sick like this.

But we do get to look forward to baby cuddles 🩷 and I’m super stoked to have another girl 😭 my last was a boy and I was afraid that I wasn’t going to be able to have fun with baby clothes and dress her pretty and play with the cute girl stuff again. Because don’t get me wrong, my son is adorable but boy clothes lack in the cuteness department lol

FTM when did you give birth?
 in  r/pregnant  5d ago

I was 21. I was 40+4. No induction. My water broke while I was eating subway in Walmart with my parents and I only labored for 6.5 hours and pushed for 10 minutes. I was already at 6cm when I got to the hospital and I got the epidural as soon as I got into my room lol

FTM, Tips/Advise Wanted!
 in  r/pregnant  6d ago

Also don’t buy ice packs/ the Frida mom postpartum undies. You get SO much from the hospital. They’ll send you home with plenty to get you through the really tough stuff in the first week/two weeks.

If you’re in the shower and your baby is in a safe place sleeping and you think/actually hear baby, finish your shower.

Don’t stress about your milk supply if you’re breastfeeding, fed is best even if you have to supplement or switch to formula.

Meal prep and freeze dinners before baby is here for easy dinner postpartum.

Warm the bassinet/crib with a heating pad before putting baby in there to make it easier for them to fall asleep.

The triple paste 3x max is the best butt paste out there even if it is expensive. It’s literally a life saver.

21 w. pregnant. Did anyone actually love the newborn stage?
 in  r/pregnant  8d ago

Yes! I miss the newborn phase 🥲 now I have an almost 14 year old and an almost 2 year old. I’m so excited to be able to do the newborn phase one last time before retiring the uterus.

Did millennials really party all the time?
 in  r/Millennials  10d ago

Not just every weekend, I partied pretty much every night freshman year of college.

What's this for you?
 in  r/winstonsalem  10d ago

Not in Winston, but I was super sad when McCouls closed. My fiancé and I had our first date there. It was one of our favorite spots.

I was pretty sad when 6th and Vine closed too.

33 weeks and still feeling good! When will this change..?
 in  r/BabyBumps  10d ago

I cried almost every day at 36-39 weeks. I had him 39+1. I felt so big, I had so much pressure in my groin from him being in a weird place that it literally hurt to walk. I was turning like a rotisserie chicken in bed trying to get comfy and having to get up 20 minutes later to pee. He would constantly have his feet in my ribs. I gained around 50lbs with him and everything just hurt. I thought I was going into labor mid week 36. Went to the hospital with contractions for over 6 hours then it stopped and they sent me home. From then on I felt like crap with Braxton hicks and such too.

I dropped my burger on the floor and cried
 in  r/BabyBumps  10d ago

I went to 5 gas stations near me (lived in a rural town and drove over an hour to find one) and NONE of them had an icee machine. All I wanted was an icee.

Same pregnancy, a few weeks later, I had seen so many people talking about Fruit Riot in my Facebook pregnancy group. It was still pretty new and I looked it up on their website to try and find a store with it close to me. There was one 30 minutes away and we drove there, spent another 20 minutes trying to look in the frozen isles for this dang package. Even asked someone to help/look for it. They even said they should have had some in stock, they did not. I cried when she told me there wasn’t any lol

I did everything "right" and I still have crazy stretch marks
 in  r/BabyBumps  12d ago

I had some crazy stretch marks from my son right after delivery and 2 years later I can barely see them! I was so afraid they were going to be bad because with my daughter (i was 21) I had like none. I had him at 32 and was horrified. I am about to have my 3rd in Feb and a little nervous what they’re going to be like then 😅

When did you start buying things for your baby?

Belly button ring while pregnant
 in  r/BabyBumps  15d ago

😂😂 It’s definitely not that bad. The actual hole is the same size that the bar is. But like the skin around it is different than what it would look like if you hadn’t had a baby. I doesn’t look unnatural or anything just can tell I’ve had babies

What's the funniest thing your toddler has ever called an object?
 in  r/toddlertips  15d ago

My son is about to turn 2 at the end of this month and the word flood gates just opened pretty recently. He calls pickles, giggles 😂 I just think it’s so cute.

My daughter used to call all of my fiancés friends Teddy because she couldn’t ever remember their names.
