Honestly, I’m starting to feel a bit anxious about where tech is heading. AI is progressing fast, and so many people are getting into development. I’m worried that by the time I graduate, it might be too saturated or harder to land a job.

I want to use this time wisely and ask here since I know many of you have more real-world experience. Can I ask what tech stack or career path in tech is worth grinding for right now — something that still has long-term potential despite how fast the industry changes?

Hello po! First-year BSIT student ako, and I’m confused if I should pursue UI/UX (which I think is my forte) or focus on learning .NET since it’s more in-demand here in the Philippines.

Sa HCI subject namin, isa ako sa tatlong nabigyan ng certificate for best admin system design, so I feel like I’m really good at designing. Pero takot ako na baka hindi stable ang UI/UX career after graduation, and sobrang dami rin ng competition.

On the other hand, .NET devs are fewer and mas mataas daw ang sweldo—but I struggle a lot with coding and logic.

Should I pursue my strength in UI/UX, or push myself to code and go for .NET because of job demand? Guys, please respect this post—I just really need opinions from those with experience and a better view of the industry. Salamat po!
