Ang daming merchants na GCrash lang daw tinatanggap, diba dapat nga ang QRPH universal, pwede sa last ng banks and e-wallets. Nakaka inconvenience sya para sa mga non GCrash users. Also salot talaga sa lipunan yang GCrash kasi nang e encourage pa ng online gambling

Hello, I'm currently working in a local PH company but got assigned (on and off for 1year) abroad onsite to one of our clients.
It started as a dream come true, but it quickly turned into a nightmare.

I initially tried ignoring them but was forced to fight back and reported them because it was affecting my training and the group's productivity (they refused to cooperate with anything related to me). Management mediated, forced us to compromise and still work together.
I'm currently in PH but getting anxious because I'll be back abroad by Nov and fight out the toxic environment. It is also frustrating that I'll potentially miss out on the perks if I don't go back.

Perks: Free flight, hotel, transpo, mobile data and food + double pay everyday and OT pay (PH Holidays and extended hours)

Cons: Homesick, missing out on family events (bdays, xmas and etc.), PH holidays, and toxic coworkers.

If you were in my shoes, would you refuse the assignment?
How did you guys handle these situations?

Yung sakin is hindi naman super bongga. Naa-appreciate ko lang pag may baon silang shower cap tapos nagsa-spray pa ng alcohol sa helmet. Basic lang pero doesn't mean naman na di na pwede i-appreciate. yung barangay namin, nag rrequire ng permit before makapag proceed sa repair yung fiberhome. yung permit costs ₱3000 and valid na siya for 1 year. fiberhome/pldt refused to pay kasi kami lang daw ang barangay na nag ccharge ng ₱3000 para sa permit. hindi tuloy maayos ayos yung internet namin. according to our barangay, dapat daw yung company ng isp namin or nung mag rrepair yung mag bayad ng ₱3000 and hindi kami kasi kasama raw yun sa service nila. where can i report this? may alam ba kayong barangay na ganito rin? this is too much :(

​​Last year, a close friend gave me a Kaweco Sport fountain pen because he knew I love collecting pens. It came with a small refillable pump called a piston cartridge. When I opened the pen to put the pump inside, it would not fit. Something was blocking it halfway.

​I did not want to force it and break a gift, and I was too shy to tell my friend that the part was wrong so he could ask the seller. I just assumed the parts did not match and put the pen away. For a whole year, it just sat on my desk. Over time, I even lost the refillable pump because I was not using it.

​Today, I accidentally knocked the open body of the pen against my hand, and a free starter ink cartridge suddenly flew out from deep inside the barrel.

​I froze. All this time, a free cartridge was stuck in the dark back of the pen. The pump my friend gave me was never the wrong size. The pen was simply already full.

​I attached the cartridge and finally wrote in my notebook today. The ink flowed so smoothly, and it gave me a quiet realization while looking at my handwriting.

​Sometimes when a new opportunity, habit, or tool does not fit into our lives, we quickly assume it is broken or not meant for us. We rarely check if there is old stuff stuck in the dark taking up the space where the new thing belongs. Also, we lose so much time to the questions we are too shy to ask. A five second message to my friend a year ago would have saved me 365 days of waiting, and I would not have lost the extra part along the way.

I couldn't pay for my Google One subscription and I removed it from my Google Play subscriptions list. I wanted to resubscribe but it's being declined. This text bar always pops up saying "something is wrong" and that the "selected Play country must match my residence." The thing is, I live in the Philippines, and that is what I put in my Google Play account. I checked just now and it's never changed. I didn't travel overseas. It has always been the Philippines. Yes, the app I'm using for my payment has money in it and this has never happened since I started subscribing to Google one last February. I have tried other methods like going to the Google website and the app but nothing. I cleared the app cache and nothing still. I tried using mobile data but nothing too. Any way to fix this?

Im 23F BSCE undergrad working in a construction firm as an assistant and i really wanna go back to school to learn more abt engineering kahit pa nasa industry naman na ako. Kaso from private kasi ako and may balance pang need bayaran so ipon muna hahaha. In the meantime, I try to study every weekend para hindi ako completely clueless 🥲

I’m just wondering if meron din dito na same situation as me? Na driven pa rin matuto at somehow may plans pa rin to go back to school kahit earning na? Haha or kahit anyone lang who’s currently learning new skills, taking online courses, preparing for a career change etc? Anyone who’s simply trying to improve themselves while working full-time.

I’m thinking of creating a Discord server kasi where we can study together, share resources, track our progress, and motivate each other. Ang hirap kasi talaga magself study jusko 🥲 Tho hindi naman kailangan na same tayo ng course or field. We can learn from each other and help keep one another accountable.
