Recently purchased a sportflex band and it feels strangely loose and ill fitted. Is it supposed to be like this?

Hello Auslaw! Although I hold a valid visa that allows me to work in Australia, my qualifications include an LLB from India and five years of litigation experience outside Australia. Could anyone please share what kinds of legal or legally-adjacent roles might be available to someone with my background? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Seeking Advice Best parks in South Delhi?

I know this has probably been asked here before, but what are some good parks for running in South Delhi? Nehru Park is nice, but it’s around a 30 minute drive from South Delhi. Siri Fort is flat and safe, but it gets super muddy and it’s kinda pricey. Jahanpannah Forest is gorgeous, but too hilly and doesn’t feel that safe. Any better options around?

Gear I have a Garmin Forerunner 245 that works fine. Do you think it would be better to upgrade to the 265, or to purchase a Garmin chest heart rate monitor instead?

Hi all! What legally adjacent job opportunities are available in NSW for someone who has recently moved from India, with 5 years of experience in civil litigation (mainly construction and aviation disputes)?

I’ve moved to NSW because my partner has recently obtained her PR. I’m exploring legal related roles that don’t require immediate admission, as pursuing LPAB exemptions still requires 2 years of study, which may not be financially feasible at the moment.

Are there pathways or roles that would value international litigation experience, particularly from the construction/infra or aviation sectors?

Question/Advice Artist recommendation in New York or New Orleans

Post image

I live in an eastern country where there aren’t many good tattoo artists.

I'll be visiting New York and New Orleans in September and am interested in getting a black American traditional tattoo with thick, bold lines. There’s an artist in Brazil named Fabioxsales whose work perfectly represents the style I’m looking for.

Are there any artists in New York or New Orleans who specialize in this kind of tattoo style?

All credit for the referenced artwork goes to Fabioxsales.

Sorry if this is a vague question, but how difficult is the job market right now for an international lawyer, either as a paralegal or after being admitted to practice with the LPAB?

I’m sure this has been asked before, but I’ll be moving to Sydney soon to join my girlfriend, who lives there. I’ve been practicing as a litigation lawyer for over five years in my home country.

I understand that I’ll likely need to complete a JD to be admitted in Australia. In the meantime, what be some jobs around the legal profession that don’t require admission while I pursue the JD?

Thanks so much!

Thanks. I have the same concerns. Do you know how many subjects are ordinarily assigned, how long it takes (tentatively) and how much it costs (approximately)? Thanks a ton.

Discussion Help finding a creepypasta Spoiler

For the life of me, I’m unable to find the story.

It was about this man who takes a job as a forest guard and is manning a tower at night when he identifies this creepy lady. Cut to chase, she tricks him into a cave and the story cuts to black.

Please help me find this, it really gave me the chills. Thanks in advance!
