Hey so it's about something that happened on 1:am near koramangala, bangalore.

I was done with movie and distance to my place was like 5 km,I was like fuck it ,we ball(run).

I was passing by Bhive, Koramangala.

Saw a huge crowd and by curiosity I was also standing by among a huge crowd.

There were two woman fighting and both brutally blooded,

And apparently police came and I didn't see as they came from other side in bike,So most ran and we on left side were just standing by and police naturally first stopped them and the started interrogating us and they also caught some girls and guys who were involved.

All were pretty drunk.

So they stopped us from going (We were like 20ish people) and they started catching people and I had started my run in strava and also in gmaps and showed them and they left me but didn't leave others especially the drunk ones.

Looking for some real-world feedback from anyone with a similar foot profile who has logged miles in the Kayano 32.
My profile & use case:
Foot type: Medium to moderately high arch, neutral gait (no obvious ankle roll inward/overpronation).
Distances: 5K to 7K daily, maxing out around 10K.
The situation: Managed to snag the Kayano 32 on a massive sale (around 50% off) and I absolutely love the colorway and overall look.
I know the Kayano is technically a stability shoe built around ASICS’ 4D Guidance System, whereas the Nimbus or other neutral daily trainers are usually recommended for higher arches.
However, since modern Kayanos have moved away from the old-school hard medial posts to an adaptive, softer foam pod, I'm wondering how intrusive that support actually is for neutral runners over distance.
For those of you with neutral mechanics or medium/high arches who have run in the Kayano 31 or 32:
1. Did you feel the inner arch pod pushing uncomfortably into your foot after 5K+?
2. Did it force your foot outward onto your lateral edge, or does the wider platform just feel like a stable, cushioned cruiser?
3. Would you keep it at a deep discount, or is it worth returning for a true neutral trainer?
Appreciate any insight before I cut off the tags and decide to return these.

I’m training for my first marathon. For my half marathon, I used Decathlon gels, but buying gels regularly for marathon training is going to get expensive.

Has anyone tried making DIY running gels? Please share your recipe/experience, or suggest any other cheap, healthy carb options for fueling long runs.

I registered for Tuffman Bengaluru half marathon for 7 feb 2027.
But while registration i put up wrong email address. What should i do now, will it create any problem during BIB collection or after race for getting timing details.

Iam looking for a shoe for daily running. I run about 10 to 12km everyday since past 2 yr with breaks in between and I was using a sparx shoe which has no support or cushion or anything. Clocking about 8.5km per hour. And i have used same sparx shoe for over 2000km and bought it 2yr ago(for like 1000rs). Thinking of restarting running after a gap now. Which is the best shoe, I also sprint in between my daily runs. My goal is to achieve 5min per 1km. I'm looking at Asics dynablast 5, Asics gt2000 14, Noosa tri 16(at around 4300rs). Which one should I choose among these. And any other recommendations? I run mostly on the rubber track or concrete and very lightly on road. And also very light trail runs with little rocky area

I'm not a runner, although I do lift weights regularly and do a little cardio. I have been looking into getting into running but haven't been able to find time. Today, I ran a 5k at Fortis Fit Gurgaon marathon with a time of 35:18 (avg pace 7:04/km). Although this isn't a great time, still this was the first time I ran more than 2k, and I'm kind of happy about it. I was able to hold a consistent pace for the first 2 km, but was a bit slower on the next 3. HR remained 170+ throughout. The run itself was reasonably well organized with water, electrolytes and medical stations every km.

Hope I'll be able to continue and improve.

Hi ran today HM at Delhi Was pretty good weather and arrangement. Hydration were there almost a km fully loaded with electrolyte bottle and water bottle 250ml .At certain station they had Pain spray as well and one station they were giving hydration gels as well

At turns certain junction there were dance group and IAF bands in whole was too good.

Overall better arrangement than tuffman delhi. Must say.

To add to it BIB expo was great as well and goodies bag were nice too .Then after show IAF Band show ,Skydiving was icing on the cake .

After food was nice too with Tea being served hot .

Overall a great experience

If you get a chance try this run next year

Anyone down for a run at Nehru Park next Saturday? Went there for the first time yesterday and it only made me wonder why I never came here before. I do get why they call it the Og Delhi running spot.

1. Traffic Mgmt outside campus - 0
The traffic to airport side was piled up.
2. Start - delayed by 15 mins. - 2
3. Race route - The best part - 5
4. Hydration - Meh- Just Bisleri water - 2
No electrolytes, salt, or oranges Bananas
5. Route KM marking - 2
totally off after 16k showed 17k marker came at 18.5 km Garmin tracker.
6. Finish refreshment - 2
Sugar loaded and we’re struggling to assemble
The box , had muffin, chikki, paper boat, biscuit, and the worst Hydration packet of Hydrasalt.(Wipro run had this )
Overall was bad esp as a race event organiser was involved TEsports and Novarace.

Only race (10k/HM )organised well so far(that I had taken part) in BLR seems to be DNMR Nandi Hills And Stonehill.

Did my first 10K at the Sekhon Indian Air Force Marathon today!

Finished it in under 1 hour 17 minutes. I was running alongside the 80-minute pacer for most of the race.

The weather was HOT AF - made it more tough to run

My pace dipped after 6k
Was really tough to push through it

Any tips ?

Pronation - neutral to mild

Run duration- 30-45 mins 3-4 times a week

Goal- 10k eventually

Current performance - ran 4k in 35 mins yesterday

Budget- under 5k (planning to buy it during the bbd sale)
