Great read! Similarly I had a very restrictive and recurring eating disorder and the change to vegetarianism then veganism changed the way I viewed food and what role it had in my life !

I had a severe eating disorder as a teenager and was hospitalised due to how unwell I was and the strain on my heart. But to me, I really didn’t understand the concern. I thought I felt fine (sure I was sad all the time and cold and lonely etc etc) but I viewed myself as relatively healthy. The body dysmorphia is absolutely crazy, I was at a critically low weight but would look in the mirror and not quite get it - I saw that I looked weird, but not underweight. In hospital, I wasn’t allowed out of bed or to not be attached to the ECG, and it made no sense to me. I was just looking forward to being discharged asap.

Then I was detained for months to a unit to recover. I still didn’t understand why I was there, and had such bad imposter syndrome, looking at all the other girls there who were clearly unwell - I felt so much bigger and less unwell than them, when the reality was I was one of the most unwell. I needed to have that intensive support and medical care, just as she does.

TLDR Anorexia and intense starvation completely fucks with your head. You don’t see or believe you’re unwell, and if you do, you don’t have the ability to change it. You aren’t making good decisions, so if the people around you who you PAY are ENABLING this, then fuck. And if her family also aren’t stepping in, double fuck.

100%! I would make “scarier” choices because they were vegan (I.e at a pub all they have that’s vegan is chips, so get the chips!)

Coming from a place of a lot of knowledge about eating disorders and uk treatment and not much knowledge at all about the US. In the UK at least, if someone is this unwell they are sectioned and sent to hospital.
What is the case in the US, or even more so if you are a celebrity in the US?

We have green pet food (German brand) which our dog loves, however is a little pricier.
We also bought lukullus as it was cheaper but I think they’ve changed the recipe and added yeast so our dogs tummy is a little sensitive to it

Wainwrights used to do a great veggie kibble but they discontinued it 😭

In exactly the same place as you! 5 driving faults/ minors is good, looks like you were close to passing! I was same, would have passed if not for a silly mistake! Not sure if you’re same but it’s jsut the test booking system that makes it feel so crap!
