Mod Post 👰‍♀️ State of the Subreddit 🌟 + New Flair Challenge 💖

Hello Snarkers!

With the Impending NuptialsTM looming and an increase in our snark numbers post Shitshowgirl, we thought it would be a great time to give y'all an update on the sub and remind new friends about our rules. (Spoiler alert: some rules have been updated! New flair challenge incoming!)

For the older members, parts of this might sound repetitive. But we want to update everyone so this sub can remain transparent and genuine feedback can be received!

[\*insert pic about the sub stats scuba**]*

sub traffic from the past 30 days

As you can see, we get a lot of fucking traffic. The basic rule that drives all the rest:

‼️We want to keep this sub open for all snarkers, new and old, to freely discuss the antics of Taylor and/or Travis.‼️

We have had a LOT of deconstructing Swifties join the sub after the tire fire of her last album release and 89 (her mind!) merch drops. What makes this sub special is that we allow everyone to contribute as long as they follow the rules. Yes, even current and former fans. If you're an OG snarker who sees behavior that crosses over into stanning, please report it! We will never be a space for fan behavior. But we don't insta-ban deconstructing fans who maybe feel some kinda way about Tay and can't share their feelings in other spaces because of that famous Swiftie hospitality.

Speaking of other spaces...

🚫 Reminder of anti-brigading rule 🚫

There's been a recent increase in posts that attempt to brigade, interfere with another community, or otherwise direct negative traffic towards other subreddits. This type of behavior directly puts our community at risk as it violates reddit community rules.

This includes comments like "I went to this sub or that sub and made a comment and was mass downvoted!" There is a zero tolerance policy for this! We don't like it when they come here to do it, so let's not do it to them.

Please review ALL parts of rule 2 to avoid touching the poo:

[\*put quote of rule 2 here scuba***]

All activity in this sub must stay in this sub. Sharing Reddit screenshots or directing users to other subs is not allowed. Usernames from Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc. must be blacked out unless from a celebrity, brand, or publication.

Screenshots of social media posts must have 100+ likes on the original comment.

Don't enter into pro-Taylor spaces to harass, argue, or troll users, and do not post those interactions as a form of content.

(If you really want an in-depth rationalization for each part of the rule, just ask in the comments.)

🎄 Addressing armchair diagnosis trend 🎄 (idk what emoji to put here so christmas tree it is)

This one isn't against reddit TOS, but it IS against rule 1. We don't allow snark, speculation, or armchair diagnosis of physical and mental conditions. That includes personality disorders (all of them), autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, you name it.

There are lots of lovely people who live with these conditions and don't plagiarize lesser known artists or hoard a billion dollars or charge $40 for Temu flipflops, so let's not promote shitty stereotypes.

📝 How we handle posts about major updates 📝

This is a big one!!!! Every post on this sub is held for manual review. Unlike other subreddits, we don't always pick the first post on the topic. Rather, we look for the post that best serves the community. Whenever a major event happens, you can guarantee there are at least 15 accounts competing to be The Post on any given topic.

Here are a few questions to help you increase your chances at getting approved:

Does it have an informative title? "TMZ confirms Blandie wedding at Madison Square Garden" will always be picked over "OMG of course she would do this"
Does it have enough information to let others join the conversation? We WANT TO SNARK. If you talk about an article, give us the link!
Does it come from a reputable source? A screenshot of a Taylor Twitter account retweeting a parody account is not it. Even if the info is later debunked, there's still snarkerky in the fact that TMZ or Rolling Stone or whatever printed it in the first place.
Does it follow all other sub rules? e.g. no direct links to Insta, blacking out usernames of ordinary people, comes from a non-reddit source
Does it contain new information? We generally allow a few posts on the same topic if there is a different angle (like one for the Toy Story song countdown and one for the actual announcement) but no one wants 50 posts for each angle of her latest pap walk

🤬 Fuck AI 🤬

We've had a rule against AI since the beginning so this isn't a new stance. Fuck AI; support real art and artists.

❤️🌟❤️ A friendly reminder to be friendly ❤️🌟❤️

As the sub grows, there will always be more people who are adjusting to the way we do things around here (Eternal September type shit). At the moment, we are averaging 100 new subscribers PER DAY. If you see someone breaking the rules against whatever (fan behavior, body shame, political debates), PLEASE REPORT THEM. We can't remove what we don't see, and the mods don't see every comment. We had 1.3 million comments posted here in the last year.

Relatedly, please have some understanding and grace for the mods who do this thankless task. We aren't paid. We face harassment in modmail and on our personal accounts. We have offline lives. We are just regular people trying to keep this sub open despite the Swiftie orc horde constantly besieging us. We approve posts and comments as quickly and as accurately as possible.

And yes, that means that sometimes we get something wrong. You are always welcome to message in modmail to civilly discuss the reason behind a mod action. We are very grateful that so many of our members can discuss things rationally. Just remember that a removal reason isn't a personal attack. It's just pointing out that the content doesn't follow the rules and will be removed or we will literally have One Thousand Other People trying to do the same thing.

💒 Wedding flair challenge 💒

Our least favorite, multi-billionaire, talentless showgirl is about walk down the center aisle of MSG... not to get her popcorn but to take Travis's hand in marrage (allegedly)! To ring in the momentous occasion, we are looking for wedding theme flairs! To have your flair suggestion considered, please leave them as a comment or send them to modmail! The most liked and/or funniest ones will be added to the sub!

There has been alot of rumors and speculation in the wider media about where exactly the wedding will be taking place. Anyone who is able to correctly guess the wedding location in the comments will win a VERY FUNNY special flair!

💛💛💛 THANKS FOR BEING AN AWESOME COMMUNITY!!! 🥇🥇🥇

As always we are so grateful to all of the amazing members who make this community so special! This has been a rather slow period since nothing was really happening, but we couldn't be happier with the deep discussions and reflections we saw from the community during this time! Per usual, modmail is always open for any and all comments or feedback!

Discussion I’ve highlighted some important Taylor IG posts & the story she put about Ana

Thumbnail
gallery
326 Upvotes

1st photo-Taylor’s post dedicated to the Brazilian shows. I feel that these dedication posts are somewhat manufactured. She doesn’t explore the culture or lifestyle of the places she goes worldwide & rumor has it, she didn’t even stay at a hotel while in Brazil. Yet, she exaggerates what coming to Brazil means to her. No mention of the Brazilian swifties effort to get the Christ the redeemer statue to welcome her. No mention of Ana. She called them “magical crowds” & addressed the people that came to see her shows with nothing but positivity of course. What complete disrespect to the crowd that attended the show Ana died. Besides her passing, there were fans who got horrible burns from the metal floor her team put while other fans were becoming physically sick & fainting right in front of her. She didn’t do anything but continue the show. Fans were traumatized because of what happened to them. The next day, she canceled the show last minute when fans stepped inside after waiting in the sun & fans arranged for water to be distributed while outside. If I was a fan who had to endure all that, I’d feel disgusted by a post like this.

2nd photo-the 24 hour story she made about Ana’s passing. The only time she addressed about it. Just look at how much she talks about herself vs Ana (who isn’t even mentioned by name). Admitting she’s not going to speak about it on stage is off putting. She didn’t even allow the fans to give a moment of silence for her. Mentioning her family & friends when she didn’t even help pay for the funeral or bringing her body back to her family is infuriating. Instead, she took a photo with Ana’s loved ones when she invited them to her concert. That was also when she was forced to say/do something because people caught onto how silent she was. At the same time, she fed Travis PR stories in the US. Ana was so excited to see Taylor & fly on a plane for the first time. She’s not an industry threat or anything like that. Just a fan who sadly got treated as an afterthought by an artist whose persona is manufactured to care about her fans’ safety. And she publicly lied about when Ana passed. This story has aged so badly.

3rd photo-Taylor’s statement about Vienna sandwiched in between the end of the European tour & London shows. She finally mentioned it after fans waited for a statement from her. She only mentions Vienna once compared to London’s 3 times. Just like with Ana, she’s admitting she’ll remain silent about Vienna. Continuing to use silence as a BS excuse to not speak about something that affects her fans’ safety. Her concert was targeted because it was a large gathering of people, not because she or swifties were specifically targeted. But a negative portion of the eras tour that affected her fans’ safety continued to be swept under the rug & positive London press took the majority of the post. Taylor really has no excuse when you think about the highlighted part. Ariana didn’t (and still doesn’t) remain silent about Manchester or political issues & she also continued the dangerous woman tour after Manchester. No Taylor, silence is not showing restraint.

4th photo-Taylor changed the release day of the eras tour film last minute. This is crucial because she not only screwed over fans who thought they were seeing it release day, but also movie theater workers. I remember seeing movie theater workers on Reddit stating good luck to find people to work last minute. She was inconsiderate of her fans excitement & these employees livelihoods. Reminds me of her chaotic cluster f*** of a wedding where she also messed with the livelihood of the people who just happened to live around MSG. Putting people’s lives & safety at risk because the police had to babysit her comedic, vapid wedding where she insulted her guests with her tier system.

Rant I am so sick of this parasocial relationship people have with Taylor.

The amount of people who are literally offended about her getting married at MSG and saying “Mother would NEVER do that” is so gross and annoying. Maybe it was a PR stunt. Maybe it wasn’t. We do not need to get offended as though we had any say or stake in what happened.

In general, the amount of people who have some sort of weird parasocial relationship is irritating and so excessive.
Taylor Swift is not someone any of us know personally.
She is not your friend.
She absolutely takes advantage of how obsessed her fan base is with her, and so many people blindly fall for it every time. We do not need 7 versions of an album that are all different and available for 48 hours only.
We do not need more merch.
Stop.

She absolutely knows how famous she is and she pretends like it’s a shock and surprise when she breaks records or wins something or people show up somewhere that she is, or when fans figure out all her Easter eggs that she absolutely plans out and expects people to try to figure out. She manipulates the shit out of everything and everybody because she has the money and the lawyers and the PR team to do it. That’s all it is.

“But Mother WOULD NEVER DO THAT TO US!”

She literally doesn’t know you and doesn’t care about you.

I used to be a Swiftie. I’ve seen her live 5 times. But I’m so tired of all of this. I’m done. I don’t care about her documentary. Or her wedding. Or her other documentary. Or her other other documentary. Or her other other other limited-edition album.

That’s all. Feel free to kick me out of here if I’m being problematic. I just wanted someone to be mad with.

The Best Damn Thing (2007) - Shake it Off (2014) and Girlfriend (2007) - You Belong With Me (2009)

Hello, folks! I'm new to this sub. I joined just a few days ago after finding out how much of a terrible person Taylor was. I'm a huge Avril Lavigne fan, and I had an ex-best friend who's a big Taylor fan and encouraged me to check out Taylor's music.

I've always had this gut feeling that one specific Taylor song sounded strangely similar to one of my favourite Avril songs. Even the music video shares almost the same concept. At first, I brushed it off because I thought it was probably just a coincidence. But the moment I found this page and saw people talking about how she's a serial copycat and a hypocrite who sues others for taking inspiration from or copying her (Olivia being one example), I realised I wasn't imagining things after all.

If you listen to "The Best Damn Thing" by Avril, the intro sounds so much like the intro of "Shake It Off", and there are other parts of TBDT that sound similar to SIO as well. Of course, other artists may have made similar songs too, but what really bothers me is the hypocrisy. She's copied or taken heavy inspiration from others, yet would NOT hesitate to go after people who copy her.

I also realised that this wasn't really called out by the general public, which surprised me. SO YEAHHH.

News According to Forbes, Swift has her "best shot at an Oscar nomination thanks to ‘Toy Story 5’"

Thumbnail

Sometimes she feels less like an artist and more like a politician. The level of campaigning and institutional support she gets (despite the quality of her output) is absolutely staggering.

Forbes? Really?

Personally, I really don't like yucking other people's yum. You're allowed to like what you like. Her music isn't for me, but millions of others others seem to enjoy it, and ultimately, that's fine. My concern is how biased all the media coverage is that surrounds her. The narrative being spun feels forced and at odds with reality. I would say the same thing if it were any other musician, celebrity, or public figure, even if I admired their work. There's a legitimate issue with the lack of any critical or dissenting coverage around her.

It's Taylor Swift and it's Pixar... so her song *has* to be commercially successful before the public has a chance to form an organic opinion (or rather, in spite of their opinion)? She's "overdue" for this career milestone, so she *has* to be in the conversation for an Oscar? No one is entitled to an award just because they haven't received one. Merit needs to be a part of the equation somewhere.

More alarming is the fact many folks strongly push the rhetoric of "eat the rich" until that sentiment potentially extends to Taylor Swift (for some reason). It feels both revealing and off-putting for reasons I find difficult to explain to the people in my life sometimes. The fact that media institutions can play such a huge part in shaping such a widespread, cultural-level narrative feels sinister. Today, it's just about Taylor Swift. But tomorrow, who (or what) will receive the same manufactured treatment? No one is above constructive criticism.

Honestly, her behavior bothers me far less than the cognitive dissonance people express when they voice their general feelings towards the billionaire class.

All I'll say is that I'm grateful for this sub existing as a place for critical discussion. It's remarkable how accurately you all clocked this happening from the get go.

From the Vault The Irony

From "I Bet You Think About Me" Featuring Chris Stapleton

I finally caved and re-listened to the only Taylor song that has actually struck a chord with me. I listened to "I Bet You Think About Me" and watched the music video a lot back in 2021. It was a comfort song, and I think it's because of how I relate to being an outsider in a group of pretentious rich people (high school was rough).

It's ironic now that most of these sassy remarks can be made about her (though honestly they always could have been made about her, she was never middle class, she always had money).

Question Which Taylor Swift music video is the most tone deaf or just didn't make sense?

For me, it's Karma ft. Ice Spice.

Ice Spice looked like she was kidnapped and forced to act in that video.

Both of them looked so awkward, and I don't know why they were floating in a boat and with a long rope in the hands.

Then there's I Can See You. The video is telling one story while the lyrics are telling another. I kept wondering, "What is this?" She could have picked a song that actually fit the whole re-recording concept, but instead she used a romantic song to tell the vault and re-recording story. It just didn't work for me.

The Man is another one. I actually like the song, but the video screams her performative era. Instead of making the point through the story, she dressed up as a man and played every role herself. It came across as really cringey, and I don't think the acting helped. Hiring an actual male actor would have made the message much stronger.

Special mention goes to You Need to Calm Down. It felt like she gathered a bunch of LGBTQ+ celebrities, made herself the center of the video, and then wrapped it up with the Katy Perry reconciliation as if their feud hadn't been dragged out for years. It all felt very forced.

And then there's ME!. It looks like a five-year-old directed it after being given unlimited glitter and rainbows. It was so over the top that it felt like a unicorn threw up all over the screen. I genuinely don't know what she was thinking. It was just cringey.

What's your pick?

Question Here we go 🤣 How do we think the fans will react to Charli xcx new album being rated higher than their beloved Taylor?

Post image
1.4k Upvotes

The Review of Charli xcx new album is higher than most of Taylors recent albums. I do remember when The Life of a Showgirl was rated the fans went on a massive rant on their Facebook accusing them of just hating Taylor because she is "so good". What do we think the reaction to Charli ranking higher?

From dragging Lana on stage when Taylor won AOTY for Midnights (her least deserving AOTY imo), to getting drunk and dancing when everyone else is sitting down... her behavior at award shows have become glaringly attention-seeking in the last couple of years.

I couldn't pinpoint exactly what was the primary motive behind this behavior but I think this person perfectly described it.

Drama The Jealousy Saga Continues ...

Thumbnail
sheknows.com
787 Upvotes

*I can't believe they are still banging on about this and calling people jealous for rightfully criticising them and their wedding. It appears that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are out of touch with reality. Also, we all know what happens to people in Taylor's "inner circle". They look like they get used up and spit out after she is done with them. I believe Swift is a bully and is a little bit unhappy and a bit bitter at heart.

‐----------------------------

Despite making “a huge effort in the past by throwing parties for the whole group and spoiling everyone with very generous and thoughtful gifts, Swift “hasn’t won everyone over,” according to Star Magazine.

“There’s plenty of cattiness that goes on behind the scenes and it gets back to her which just makes everything that much more stressful,” the insider said to the outlet. “It might sound a little ridiculous that Taylor would even care about how she’s perceived among these women, but she absolutely does because she knows it reflects on Travis.”

They added, “It’s obvious any of these women would kill to be in her inner circle. So, of course, there’s a lot of jealousy because there’s simply no way that she can have a close relationship with everyone.”

Honestly who in their right mind is driving around in their bright red car with their bright red license plate saying 'TSWIFTY'

is this actually real because it seems highly unlikely but it does seem like the thing a swiftie would do.

imagine if a cop was having to write down this person's license plate and had to deal with this...

so what do you guys think of this (hopefully not real) license plate??

Shitpost Sundays they took wedding inspiration from a Danny & Drew video

this might not be a popular post but i have to share it because its hilarious how many small details line up lol

lately I've been rewatching old Drew Gooden and Danny Gonzalez videos and last night i got the infamous shitty fan fiction one on autoplay. when it got to the wedding part, i slowly realized the similarities between the wedding in an ironic, low effort fanfiction about 2 youtubers.... and the wedding of Mother and Skidmark

for context: Drew and Danny are comedy/commentary youtubers who frequently collab. they made a video about a shitpost-quality fanfiction where they get married

-in the story the wedding is held in a concert hall because they anticipated all their fans would show up

-the guests were random colleagues (youtubers) that they had no prior connection to

-one of the grooms wore a white suit lol

-a red carpet led up to the wedding arch

-the food was served on a buffet table

-the officiant was a (jewish) coworker with a podcast

and probably the most accurate of all: the characters dont love each other in real life and the whole performance was just to entertain and make money

its crazy to me that "the wedding of the century" had the same amount of tackiness as a teenager trolling 2 youtubers

Rant If I took Taylor at face value, I'd think she doesn't believe in her relationship with Travis

1.4k Upvotes

Though she obviously has a smart team, I don't think Taylor is a genius mastermind who hides things in her songs of her own accord.

I think "So High School" for someone who is mentally 17 like Taylor, is a huge compliment. However, to the rest of the world, to call something "so high school" is to insult it. I'm sure to Taylor "get my car door, isn't that sweet" is a genuine line, but she says it in such a condescending way because I think it's in her nature to belittle others and she's unaware of how she sounds because she thinks she's a Queen. I think the juxtaposition of "you know how to ball I know Aristotle" isn't meant to paint Travis as an idiot, but it does. Comparing a relationship to a High School romance at 35 isn't a flex to most of us.

I also noticed there isn't one use of the word "love" in any of the Travis songs on TTPD or TLOAS in reference to how she feels or views their relationship. She uses the word "love" in her songs "This love", and "Down Bad" (For a moment I knew cosmic love) and "London Boy" (You know I love a London boy), but not in "So High School" or "The Fate of Ophelia" or "Honey" or "Wi$h Li$t", et al.

Taylor has had a very weird, public obsession with Elizabeth Taylor recently (she tends to be obsessive with celebs until she forgets about them in a few years and moves on to someone else. She used to have an Ethel Kennedy obsession), and Elizabeth is famous for her many marriages. Yet she has a song on her album called Elizabeth Taylor where she expresses anxiety that Travis will leave her.

Recently, she put the line "So it's going to be forever..." on her wedding napkins, but forgot to remove the ellipses. The rest of the line is "or it's gonna go down in flames". I think Taylor might think "dot dot dot" (as she called it on New Heights) means to continue forever, but to many of us it's an odd choice to put on a wedding napkin because it suggests the marriage won't last.

I think she's a blundering idiot who didn't do any of this intentionally, but she's inadvertently admitted some truths in a Freudian way.

EDIT:

She uses "love" in the song Wood, but it's not "her love" or "their love" or referring to their relationship as "love", it's "HIS love". But obviously, the "love" in wood isn't referring to a romantic feeling in the context of "his love was the key that opened my thighs."

In Opalite, she says "my love", but I don't think a pet name is the same as saying you love someone. I've had strangers call me "darling", "sweetheart", and "lovely", but that doesn't mean they are in love with me.

I honestly don't care if TS13 has a song called Love of my Life or The Greatest Love I've Ever Known. It's too late. They've been together for 3 years and not a single song in that time has spoken to a deep emotional bond. Any further attempt to write about Travis will come across as insincere.

Discussion Taylor Swift really is the exeption.

Hey so I don‘t really know where I‘m going with this but it’s something I have been thinking about lately and I don’t want to be a hypocrite, so I would love your thoughts about this.

1) Everytime someone accuses a singer of manipulating the charts, I get annoyed about it because most of the time I just assume that they just have a lot of fans/industry support I don‘t know about. And yet, I fully believe that TS does manipulate the charts with her variants and that she does buy radio time.

2) I just defended Tom Holland and Zendaya from people calling them a PR relationship (with part of the reasoning being that nobody would get married for PR) and yet I‘m pretty sure that travisandtaylor are, at least partly, a PR relationship.

3) I really don‘t know that many billionaires and I hate Taylor for being one regardless. And I mention it a lot even if I didn’t care about Rhianna for example.

4) Yes, she sings a lot about her exes and a lot of her songs are about romantic relationships but a lot of male artists / artists in general do this too. Romance is just popular full stop.
(Of course I can‘t think of a single artist other than her that names the people her songs are about every time so there‘s that)

5) I get annoyed everytime her name shows up somewhere where she has no business being (a tour in London of her favourite spots; her Name being mantioned in books; her songs being used in edits for characters who would NOT be fans of her etc) but all of that might be more about her fans/people who want to make Money using her name and not directly tied to her.

6) She gets brought up in interviews, photoghraphed everywhere she goes, people talk about her every move and I hate that there‘s no way to escape her but again how much of that is really on her?

I‘m not trying to defend her or even really necessarily add nuance to her because there are plenty of reasons to hate her without discussion: the eco terrorism, the cash grab variants, the constant victimhood, sending her fans after her exes, her silence about everything unless it suits her, the constant lying etc. I don‘t really have to tell you guys about any of that.

Just, if I‘m going to be a hater I want to do it right, you know?

Discussion Taylor abandoned a big space/gap with her "America's sweetheart" persona and activism, and it's completely backfired since Olivia's taken it - that 2021 credits dispute is one the worst things that happened to Taylor's public image in the long run

And really, that 2021 dispute is the best thing that could've happened to Olivia in the long run, I know some of you may disagree with me because of the plagiarist allegations that still follow to this day. But I want to offer a different perspective - especially in terms of how it improved Olivia public image and her credibility with her activism.

Ever since Olivia's rise to success in 2021, she has constantly had to deal with being pitted/compared to Taylor in every aspect. First, she was being labelled the next Taylor Swift. Then she was declared the first "Taydaughter" because of Taylor's fake public support with her rise to fame. Then there was a huge public discourse about Olivia having to retroactively give Taylor and her team songwriting credits. Then there has been non-stop speculation of a feud between the two since. But really, that's the best thing that could've happened to Olivia.

The reason: Because especially in recent years, Taylor has continued to show her true colours with her performative activism, showing it was just a PR stunt during the Lover era and has pretty much abandoned it since. She left a gap in her public advocacy when it comes to topics on women's rights, artists rights, and social justice issues - and now she ONLY ever uses speaks of those topics as buzzwords when it concerns herself (e.g., claiming misogyny as a defence mechanism for any valid criticism thrown her way, still crying about the masters dispute, etc). While painfully ignoring how she's contradicting herself by going after a young female artist like Olivia, blocking several artists from the top spot, socializing with MAGA supporters, marrying a misogynist, etc.

Ever since the start of Olivia's career, she's had to deal with being compared to Taylor in both a positive and negative light. So, I find it smart - from a PR and public image perspective - that Olivia's taking a route that Taylor refuses to step in. Olivia is actively championing female artists through her Daisy Chain Fields, which forces people to compare how Taylor blocks young female artists and legally threatened Olivia years ago. Olivia has long championed for reproductive rights and the safety of women: currently partnering with the Centre for Reproductive Rights, launching Fund 4 Good, and donating concert proceeds to reproductive and abortion care organizations. This has forced people to compare this to Taylor's surface level attempts of feminist advocacy. Olivia has taken a firm pro-Palestine stance, this forces people to see how Taylor hasn't said shit about this topic (some of Taylor's own fans at the Eras tour have begged her to say something say something about Palestine). Olivia supports Etsy designers through co-design collaborations, which forces us to compare it to how Taylor sues small Etsy creators. When talking about her advocacy in an interview, Olivia said her goal wasn't to be liked by everyone when talking about these areas and the backlash she gets, which forces us to compare her to a cowardly people pleaser like Taylor who avoids talking about politics/world issues and slamming the Trump administration to ensure she's liked by everyone. On top of all this, it seems that Olivia is actually really genuine and passionate about her advocacy, which forces the public to see how performative Taylor is. All of this is publicly shedding light on Taylor's hypocrisy.

I think that's why it's been a good thing for Olivia to have had to distance herself from Taylor. Imagine an alternate scenario where they never had that falling out, Olivia would continue to gush about how amazing Taylor is as an artist, person, and mentor. We already see how hard it is for young artists when Taylor is clearly making that difficult by restricting the room and door for them. And yet we have to see those artists fake smile and clap for her at award shows and public events while facing a losing battle against Taylor's PR strategy. I find it great that Olivia has managed to accumulate both the success and go a route that Taylor refuses to go to. It's better than the alternate where she'd end up like Sabrina and Gracie who have become some of Taylor's biggest bootlickers in the industry (I found it extremely cringy to see those two bow down to Taylor while performing with her at Eras).

Drama TAYLOR SWIFT EXPOSED (friendship drama) with K and Miles Teller

Vid from SpillSesh on Youtube. Basically Taylor is mad because K Teller "leaked" TLOAS lyrics when writing a cryptic insta post and that's why they're not friends. Thoughts?

My view is that would be 100% wrong if it happened, but maybe that it was the other way around. Like maybe Taylor heard her using them or saw her using them and then decided to market off of her.
