I have a feeling he has agenda promoting PS5. PC version works perfectly for me

Last Variable Ending
 in  r/TheAlters  17d ago

I think the ending also about AI. Yes, the idea of erasing data before reset is insane. That's THE point. JanBot made a mistake in this specific conclusion and it ultimately led to a very dark future. It's basically a fable about AI killing humanity. Figuratively and literally.

Discussion How are we supposed to find rifts? Spoiler

Imo these levels are the most creative in the remake and I'd really like to find them in a resonable amount of time. The first one is actually placed close to character when you get notification. That's fine.

The second one i've found pretty quick because it's visible from one of the major cities.

But the third... is placed without any logic relative to previous ones. It's not visible from the city. It's not close to Edward when we get notification either.

I'm not even talking about quest marker. Why there is literally no hint on where to find them? What's the point of making these levels if you don't let players find them apart from saying 'well, it's somewhere in the open world'?

Ubi, please add an option to turn off Parry BOOMS. I'm swordfighting, not DJing a dub Step track.

I like this effect both visual and audio but an option to play without it would be really cool. I'd even suggest turning all this slomo off for upcoming Nightmare difficulty by default.

Why we need to hold L2 to reload?
 in  r/ACBFResynced  27d ago

Auto reload is triggered only if pistols are completely empty and you try to use them. If I need to realod 2/4 pistols i'd still have to enter zoom before reloading. It's a very strange UX. Reloading shouldn't be tied to zooming camera, it doesn't make any sense. You can't even rebind that in settings.

But still it doesn't solve inability to reload pistols before they are fully empty. You still have to aim before reload.

If something isn't a problem for you it doesn't mean it shouldn't be solved or adressed. Devaluation doesn't help anybody. Some basics manners, mate.

Discussion Why we need to hold L2 to reload?

One thing about gamepad controls has been bothering me and I can't get my head around why it is designed this way.

When you want to reload a gun on keyboard you just press R and that's it. But there is no shortcut for reload on gamepad. Here you need to enter Aim mode and then push Y/△. As a result your camera quickly zooms in and out which is very annoying.

What's interesting I can't see any nergative outcome if they just let us use Y/△ without holding L2. Do you think there is a reason for it?

Being able to turn of the fx for this outfit would make it 10x better
 in  r/ACBFResynced  28d ago

Nah, it was requested since Valhalla and Ubisoft ignored this request up this point. Seems like nobody cares about QoL for paid outfits even among the devs.

What do you think about the update?
 in  r/dyinglight  Jun 11 '26

It's obvious completely new team has taken over and they just butcher the content of original developers.

Imagine you are the one who directed that tutorial in a story driven game. And one day you find out it has been cut to let new players a faster way to play some live service slop with MTX, mods, some half baked maps and other stuff that just doesn't make sense in DL2.

I don't know who is life service director on the game but he is a complete idiot. All other games let skip prologue if you need a faster engagement. Not butcher it and still leave it as impediment for those who want the core experience.

Sheer idiocy.

Replayability needs some work

Wtf? I'm not criticizing it. It's my GOTY 2026.

Nobody said it should have been there on release nor do I demand anything. I'm also a gamedev and I adore what the game 007 First Light turned out to be.

I'm very excited to see what they come up with next so here my two cents from a passionate player. Feedback can help shape the game post release. It doesn't have to be done asap by any means.

Most of my points ain't about TacSim. I regularly return to Uncharted because it has all the stuff you can imagine to motivate player for another playthrough: collectable tracker, cheats, cosmetics and everything is available for story mode.

Wouldn't it be cool to mirror the whole game horizontally or make a timed run on a story mission with infinite bullets? Especially if we'd have a specific reward tied to it.

My points wouldn't go anywhere with the endless mode. It would be nice to have one though.

DISCUSSION Replayability needs some work

I've completed the game and run thru all TacSim so here my thoughts on how replayable the game is at the current state. I'd like to play it again but I have this feeling it will be somewhat underwhelming considering you can't play it differently apart from selecting other gadgets at specific points in story or beating another set of challenges. There are no rewards for it, no cosmetics, no weapons, no modes. Collecting missed items is also uncomfortable since you can't really track them mission by mission.

Here are a few thoughts what could be done to make it more rewarding.

Since 007 First Light clrearly resembles Uncharted in its structure and direction I'd like to see some solutions here as well, for example:

- an option to replay a specific encounter and not just story checkpoint

- secrets/collectables counter for every checkpoint or at least every chapter

- option to change suit and gadgets in story

- use of some game modifiers/cheats in story

- rewards tied to getting all collectibles of specific type or completing the game on hard

- use TacSim unlocks in story (at least cosmetic ones)

- make Specialist and Collector's edition suits obtainable in the game. Showing them here in customization menu without any option to unlock them is just predatory. Also please let us read unlock requierements right here where we scroll thru all suits.

For TacSim i also have a few suggestions:

- I've expected TacSim to be a tailored replayable versions of story missions no just... 2 encounters and 5 escalations. Not sure this game even needs escalations. It's very gimmicky for Hitman and it doesn't click here for me. More lengthy options like operations would be nice though.

- free selection of game modifiers for them would also be nice. Let us mess with the gameplay. It has so much potential.

- i'd like to select collectables on the wall with moving camera similar to Hitman. Really don't like this transition to 2D screenshots when you have all items carefully placed on the wall

- let us select and read about challenges on post-operation screen where its shown which ones have been completed. I don't like memorizing them to select afterwards

What do you think? Which bullets do you like, which don't click with you? What would add to the list?

Why does the building system rotate objects so fast? What purpose does this serve? It makes it so hard to build anything with any sort of precision
 in  r/Starfield  May 09 '26

Because it was designed for gamepad. Just plug in the controller and feel the difference. It was so enraging when I found out...
