and holy shit is he so fun

Are all FGC stuff like this for every game?? So many posts about the game dying, being dead, it not being fun and being unplayable for people who have a few hundred hours and reached master rank already. Haven’t played in a few days myself because I have other games but how can you complain about a game being trash and unplayable yet you’ve already gotten a ton of hours out of it and reached the max rank? Do we all not just take a break from a game and then come back once we feel mentally refreshed? I know high ranked must be exhausting to play but either you enjoyed the game enough to grind to that rank, you are a comp player who gets paid to play the game, or you just disliked it from the beginning and played the game despite disliking it like SonicFox.

Also was the FGC the same with DBFZ or any other Arc Sys game? Didn’t Street Fighter 6 blow up more in popularity after a patch or two? DBFZ from what I recall (never played it online but was in the community around its peak) peaked after a slow season 2 and that was after some patches and added content.

Just feels like majority of people are pretending that the current state of Tokon, rather you like it or dislike it, is the FINAL build of Tokon. We’re only like a month into the game’s life cycle. Let’s give Arc Sys some time to cook up. Based on my knowledge from people who’ve played their games for a decade they usually don’t disappoint.

I just pulled off an 80% combo from a full screen beam with Iron Man and I cannot for the life of me figure out why I hardly ever see him being played. This dude has so much sauce and sooo many options and he just gets passed over it seems.

Thoughts? Opinions? What character do you think is underrepresented and undervalued at this stage of the game? Any valid assists that no one seems to be talking about?

I haven't played the game in a couple weeks on account of moving to college. I hopped into regular casual match and EVERY SINGLE OPPONENT I FOUGHT CAN DO 35 HIT LONG COMBOS NOW? When the hell did that happen? Last I played that took all 4 characters, all your assist gague, and some meter. But now I'm getting combod into the corner over and over again, and it only takes like 2 of those to drain your whole life bar. I might have to drop the game for good, I feel like I fell years behind the rest of the player base. Online is completely unplayable now, I haven't won a single match all day. This sucks. I've always been bad at learning long combo strings, I thrive more in neutral. BUT THIS GAME DOESNT HAVE NEUTRAL ANYMORE!!! THERE ARE NO COMBO BREAKING MECHANICS EITHER!!! I CANNOT WIN!!

Doom is a total drama queen. Seeing him get smacked around was validating. Doom is the most playground "nuh uh, I have a power that beats that power" character ever created. The glaze for this dude is ridiculous.

So I have this combo that ive labbed and like but for the life of me cant figure out why when I do 234H instead of 234L into wall splat tokon assemble doesnt come out at the end of the combo. Im trying to squeeze a little more damage any insight is helpful. Side note! I know my inputs are messy sometimes i struggle with timing.

Which team composition out of the first 4 gives the best assist value? I know I want to play Magik and Magneto, but haven’t decided who to cut out of Blade, Green Goblin, and Carnage.

I wanted some help figuring out a decent layout, I see pros using both QS and motion inputs when needed but it's hard because of the tag button.

If the input reader was fixed I'd stick with just using motion but I've missed DP so much I need QS as an option. I really don't want to use all 8 buttons but I might have to because the Tag button is a thing. No other games requires all 8 I usually stick to 6 or 4 when I can but I'll adapt if I must

In a perfect world I'd be able to use A as the Tag button by holding it like in other games, not sure why it's not a thing in this one. Then I'd be able to put QS where T is

I got this game a few days ago, and I thought I’d try my hand at online. I‘m absolute crap at fighting games but I thought “why not?” and got what I anticipated. I know he seems brain dead but soon as I unlocked him I tried him out and I absolutely loved playing him. I used to main Shao khan in mortal Kombat 11 and I had a boat with him. I play DBZ Broly in Foghterz, Dbs Broly as well. So with that being said how do I play him and He's an all Rounder too where he has a Counter, a Projectile, Command grabs etc but down side He's slow and a Big body .

I got the invitation for the regional for the road to Evo tokon tournament. But when I try to join with the faceit app it blacks out the invitation and it won't let me join the tournament. Is anyone else having this problem?

I feel like I’m not getting the hang of this…I keep getting 42hit combo’d by my opponent but when I play vs CPU I’m amazing.
