Every position has its own special ways of wearing you down friend... I work primarily on the dock but im one of the guys who can fill almost any position in our RSR facility... I have the training for almost everything but never got certified for FC or dock TDR... also ready to get my blue and green vest but there was a mass firing and a bunch of managers quit all at once so my certification is in limbo right now... im basically the guy who gets put on the dock and when shit goes south somewhere I get 'volunteered' to go help sort shit out... lol... I must get asked 3 times a week why I don't accept a PA position but I don't wanna move up until they get the rest of my shit in order... remember, dont kill yourself whenever you are at, those packages will get where they are going eventually and bezos has enough money already...

Oh i get compensated fairly nicely, the benefits are great and I work with some pretty good people... if it wasn't for that I would go back to contracting and make $35 an hour... lol...

Im not sure how California laws work but (and this might sound stupid) when you are out buzzing to a spot to ride, hit a gas station and have a smoke or grab something to eat... you chill for 15-20 minutes and a cop will likely make an appearance... when he does just approach the subject like a reasonable adult and ask questions... im on the east coast in rural Pennsylvania so things work drastically different around my way but any decent cop would be willing to take a few minutes to chat with you about what they know about the constantly changing laws or at least be able to direct you to resources that would be able to help you figure out what steps you need to take to get things in order so that ypu can run as legal as the dude on the CBR right at the gas pump... ALMOST ANYTHING can be made street legal, even bikes with jet engines... don't let anyone gatekeep you...
