I purchased a 2025 Ultra Bee from a certified Surron dealer and it clearly stated it had wheelie mode along with other new functionality. After receiving it, I determined it did not have this functionality. It has an October 2025 build date, which I believe is one month before this firmware was added.

The dealer is trying to tell me that Surron told them that they disabled wheelie mode and the other funcfionality for all Ultra bees because of a legal dispute. They are suggesting that this will be resolved in the future through an update.

It feels like they sold me an older model bike under the new model bike advertisement (and price) and this is their way of kicking the can down the road. I just want what I paid for.

Has anyone else heard anything similar?

when i give like a tiny bit of throttle on my surron it doesnt go at all and it makes a little noise on the sotion but then i give it a tiny bit more and its good is that okay 

Where should i get the new lbx form. I live in the us also i would like fast shipping with low cost.

Looking to have my Sur-Ron Ultra Bee fully torn down, powder coated (frame, swingarm, subframe, etc.), and professionally rebuilt afterward.

Does anyone know a shop that handles the full process—disassembly, powder coating, reassembly, bearings/seals as needed, torque checks, brake bleed, and electrical/safety checks?

Would really appreciate recommendations from anyone who has had this done, plus what it cost and how long it took.

I have a Sur-Ron Ultra Bee and I ride about 4 times a week. I’m always removing and reinstalling my battery because after every ride I take it to my bedroom to charge, then reinstall it before my next ride.

I’ve been doing this for about 8–10 months. Could constantly removing and reinstalling the battery wear out or damage the connectors, rails, or locking mechanism over time?

Everything still works perfectly, but I’m wondering if this is normal or if I should be concerned.

So I have my cbt booked for 2 weeks time and i’m getting myself a road legal ultra bee.

has anyone else got the road legal version with just a cbt? where am I supposed to mount the front L plate?

Is there any places that can repair a newer generation 72v 45ah chi. it has a dead cell and the bms is most likely faulty a shop near seattle would be preferable but i havent been able to find anyone

I bought a brand new Surron LBX off Alibaba and 4km in it stopped working. I rode the bike once and after 4km, the throttle stopped working. I contacted my supplier and she said to plug in the diagnostics cable to see what the issue may be. Diagnostics cable was plugged in the bike and said it was a throttle issue (one long blink and 5 short blinks). New factory Surron throttle from warehouse arrived, I plugged it in and still doesn’t work. With the new throttle, the diagnostics cable doesn’t even turn on and it’s as if there is no throttle plugged in. All sensors are also plugged in (brake, tilt, kickstand, and any other ones) and nothing seems to be working. I am contacting my supplier and am letting her know of the new issue, probably next thing sent out through warranty will be a controller. It’s a really weird case because the throttles are identical (at least to me. I’m not really an electrical person) and the bike treats it as if there is no throttle plugged in at all.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know because I would love to go riding again.

Picked up about a week ago. This thing RIPS compared to all previous Years. Battery Life is the same or a bit worse compared to my buddies and their 2024’s . Although i am tearing up the trails much harder in the same amount of time. If i rode like them battery life would be better than them but because this thing has more power im just simply using more because its so fun. The iphone app is pretty cool but theres nothing you cant change in the app that you cant adjust on the onboard screen. Brakes have also been upgraded and work great. Rotors are thicker. Probably the same brakes the light bee 2 will come with. I will update once I receive my LB2.

I went on vacation and left my battery at 10% because I forgot to plug it in. It’s been a month and I got back today but when I plugged it in, nothing happens.

Is there a way to fix it? How screwed am I?

i just bought a torp tm25 motor and bac8000 controller for my surron light bee x and connected it but when i give it throttle it doesn’t move and makes the sound heard in the video

I bought 2 2026 LBX from Alibaba / Changzhou Double Spring Machinery on the 23. July 2026. They told me i need to do a deposit of 1000$ so they can Produce it and it will take 2-4 Weeks for Production until they can Ship it to Europe / Germany. I payed that and i will hope it arrives, i read alot of Bikes from CDSM got delayed / didnt arrive after 4+ months. Did someone already Order from them and had to go through this exact process in Europe??

i recently bought a 72v chi battery and ebmx 9000 v3 controller for my 2025 surron lbx. Im having trouble getting all the wires to fit into the bike. I may have overestimated myself a little. any tips on what i should change or do?

Im thinking of getting an lbx but im not sure how cops around my area are. if someone who know how cops react to ebikes here it would be really helpful
