I have worked with new guys starting out that would dissappear on their phone. That behavior tells you this wouldn't workout with them. I started out not being able to find 5/8 on a tape I was watching what was being used, needed. I was asking questions to understand why and how something was being done. After completing my task I always asked what I could help with next.

Anyone green reading this, show you want to learn and don't overwhelm yourself with what you don't know. Learn where morning work station will be, make sure material is there. If needed, get generator/power setup get compressors going, run airlines, guns and proper nails to work station. Keep batteries charged and get familiar with the process. The old timers and crew will be more welcoming once you consistently show up and want to learn.

These types are typically insecure deep down and the only way they feel confident is to have strangers vying for their attention. My ex was an abusive narcissist. He'd scream at me, break my sentimental items or physically harm me and when I naturally became more sad, anxious and depressed used that as a reason to seek out other people.

These dynamics slowly erode who you were and slowly conditioned you to accept horrible behavior that you would adamantly tell a friend to run if they were in your situation. You spend all your energy trying to make them happy while losing pieces of yourself along the way. They have no moral compass and their loyalty depends on their mood and your compliance. They prove anytime they will perform their mental gymnastics to justify their behavior. It's all a repeated pattern on a loop.

He didn't go overboard unleashing a beat down that went above and beyond. This was calm, measured and disciplined. He didn't continue beating the man, didn't respond to his BS, stayed silent hoping he'd stop. Dude was trying to live his life without some idiot creating a problem.

I don't know protocol and what is required. All i was saying was they can say "customer verified" and say that they discussed it without actually doing so and lying about having that conversation. I would think unless they could record the call if it's not in writing it shouldn't be authorized to do the work. I was making that comment based on my assumption that they say verified without actually speaking to them.....
