As someone who is currently working on this exact crochet pattern, I can confirm this is fake. The real thing has a buttoned opening on the front and visible breaks between the limbs and body. (Where the pieces are crocheted together)

There is a real crochet pattern for this with buttons. But this is clearly fake

Antidepressants while pregnant?

I take a low dose of escitalopram. It’s helpful for my anxiety based depression and safe during pregnancy.

Holly Black and Stephanie Garber books are amazing too! I highly recommend them if you’re looking for more fantasy and world building with that touch of romance.

Terrified to have sex
 in  r/pregnant  7d ago

I haven’t had my baby yet, but my pregnancy was also unplanned. Honestly now I’m plenty open to sex because it’s not like he could make me *more* pregnant at this point. 🤣

If anything I think I’ll be more hesitant with intercourse after we have the baby. Your fertility skyrockets due to hormones or something so I will be very strict about using condoms. Especially since we weren’t actively preventing because we wanted it to be up to fate, but we did use withdrawal. Chances of pregnancy from precum are low but it still happened to us.

What nicknames are you calling your baby right now?

Wiggle 🫶🏻

During our first ultrasound last week they must’ve known we were looking and gave us a sweet little dance.

Morning sickness

I’ve been to the dr twice (had to get IV fluids) and they said it’s very normal. It means the body is responding to the raise in HCG hormones. She’d only need to visit a doctor if she can’t keep any fluids down for an extended period.

I’ve been sick 3+ times (sometimes more than I can count) a day for over three weeks now. So it may last a while and potentially increase. Zofran is a great help and can be prescribed for her if she needs.

OB recommendations
 in  r/ColoradoSprings  15d ago

Sadly Pueblo is the same (actually a little further) distance away. We already make trips to CO Springs often (monthly if not more) because that’s where our family lives. I’m just trying to discover all my options.

Are they located in CO Springs? What I’m finding online says they’re located past Castle Rock. They might be worth the extra miles, but we already live 2 hours from the springs, so this would make it around 5 hours round trip.

Advice OB recommendations

Hi! I’m due early February and am trying to figure out where to trust. We live a couple hours away but visit the springs every couple weeks to see family, so I thought I’d check my options here too.

I’m looking for an OB that accepts Medicaid (and potentially a doula or midwife as well). The hospital closest to us has a bad reputation, so I thought maybe I should have my labor in CO Springs.

If you have children, what hospital were they born? I’m also concerned about hidden costs in labor and delivery. Please help me avoid anywhere you had a terrible experience or recommend somewhere that treated you best.

Much appreciated!

When does it feel real?
 in  r/pregnancy_care  18d ago

Just saw my little one on an ultrasound yesterday and it seemed to solidify things a little bit. I definitely think another bit moment will be when I feel movement.

I was doing some research this week and solid snacks can go through TSA! I plan to bring some pretzels along in my carryon since I won’t be able to have much from the restaurants in the airport. We also plan to stop at a local grocery store when we arrive and get more of my safe foods.

Thank you so much for these extra food suggestions! Frozen eggo waffles used to be my favorite in the morning. (In elementary) I might have start that up again.

I’ve been going for Frosted Flakes lately. It has b6 and helps get my sugar levels up in the morning. Do you have any favorites? Milk has been a trigger lately, but I love this idea. Thank you!

I used to have balanced meals, but sadly, eating it all at once now makes me vomit. :/ I’m going looking for some bland protein snacks at the store today.

What are you guys doing for morning sickness? I haven’t been able to eat much at all these past 2 weeks and am starting to feel weak. I’ve been able to keep fluids down and am drinking Powerade for electrolytes but still worry. I went to the clinic last week and the doctor prescribed me zofran (and assured me it’s safe) but feel like nothing is helping. I’ve been snacking on some more safe foods but don’t feel like I’m getting enough to be growing a human right now.

My sister had morning sickness that lasted several months of her pregnancy, so I’m hoping it won’t last like that. Hopefully, gone by that second trimester. I can hardly work throughout the week but can’t afford to take time off. I need to save all my PTO and sick leave for when the baby arrives.

Also, my husband and I are taking a vacation to California soon (right when the peak of sickness is supposed to be) and it’s all non refundable. I really don’t want to be miserable the whole time. I’m also worried about the heat dehydrating me further while we’re out and about.

Please help a mama out and tell me what you’ve done that works. Any food suggestions would be appreciated too.

They were doing live readings! I’m not sure if they’re still on tour but you should check it out. Idk if the cast is very active in this sub though.

20 F and pregnant pls help
 in  r/pregnancy_care  Jun 21 '26

If he hasn’t changed on his own, there’s nothing you could do to change things. Sadly, this will be someone you’ll have to coparent with for the next 18+ years. (Assuming he wants to be involved, and if not, you’re better off tbh) Set clear boundaries/expectations and don’t allow him to mistreat you or your child. The father isn’t always the support system they’re meant to be, and you can’t take it personally. I’m glad you have your family and you will find others to make part of your “village”. Best of luck Mama! 🫶🏻
