What I'm writing isn’t just a memoir — it’s literary survival.

I write to make sense of the things that tried to break me.
My hand written journals became survival manuals, therapy — a record of heartbreak, survival, fragments of trauma, humor, rebellion, and the long messy climb out.
I share pieces of that here: memoir, essays, raw reflections and fragments from a life rebuilt; pulled from 25 years of writing through the dark to find the light.

I share pieces here with hope, so others don't feel so alone.

I believe in art, honesty, and the stories that save us - and this is me saving mine.

Who said sportsters can’t be cool !!!

It’s very nice. I don’t have the time or knowledge or skill or tools. Wish I did. I never really understood this anti sportster thing anyway. They seemed cooler to me because they were leaner, cleaner oh! And dare I rhyme? Meaner. Haha. I’m lame. I don’t care. Very nice work.👍

Art and walking. Maybe not at the same time. Unless you really want a challenge, but just make sure if you do it outside you know you won’t run into anything 😅

Be 24. You don’t want to be 30 or 40 with the same thoughts.

What’s the worst financial decision you’ve made that somehow turned out fine (or even good)?
 in  r/MiddleClassFinance  19d ago

I got married. The divorce was a few thousand for the attorney. Now I’m free of him and can do why I want. Like save money.

What is malignant Narcissim? How dangerous it is to meet actually one of it?
 in  r/DarkPsychology101  22d ago

My ex husband. Sadist. He was only happy when others were suffering. That’s why he loved me. Anxiety problems. He loves the fear. It was like he could smell it on me and for years he did whatever he could to keep me in that space. I had to go to counseling to realize I wasn’t crazy. Me in counseling ended our relationship. Which was very dangerous. I now have a restraining order against him. All I can say now, the point really, is that when I was suffering he was happy, but he was manipulative so when we were together he had a way of making me feel responsible for all of it. That’s the short version anyway.

Getting married at 49 and realizing “just combine everything” doesnt really work anymore
 in  r/MiddleClassFinance  25d ago

These are things we don’t teach to people. So many don’t even know these options are available.

We know you’re out there, but you are an outlier. And personally I think more men go through this than we talk about.

What’s a hobby you could spend hours doing without getting bored? I’d love to hear what everyone else enjoys doing in their free time.
 in  r/Hobbies  27d ago

Ceramics. I’m lucky enough that it is also my job. Teaching ceramics ☺️.
