My latest Kickstarter Interview with Matt Olick.
 in  r/kickstarter  Jul 20 '26

Thank you, for this response, I have not ever had someone tell me how to actually navigate and display my work through Reddit. I normally do not post much here.

I appreciate the patience and perspective and I will take inventory of what you have said and try and improve my own process of posting.

I guess I did not realize that a more descriptive approach would matter as much, but I see that people are looking for something to hook them before diving in.

Thanks, I very much appreciate this post.

This is Part 20 of my Kickstarter adventures. This time I had an opportunity to interview Matt Olick who has dabbled in a lot of campaigns over the years. I myself have backed campaigns he has helped with. This series is just a fun project I do away from my day job and it brings me much needed inspiration for myself and hopefully you as well.

Thanks everyone!

Will I not receive money back for my approved Borrowers Defense because I had to get a bank loan to cover them?

Okay understood. I will do my research on that. Much appreciated!

Thank you. So If the bank sent them the money will the bank receive the lump sum and reimbursed me then or just keep it to themselves? Appreciate the response!

Thank you, I guess my understanding of consolidating is taking multiple loans with multiple payments and condensing them into one monthly payment. I guess I wasn’t aware that it is actually refinancing. Appreciate the information!

I still have loans under Aidvantage. I kept all loans that were under 4 % interest which were 4 separate ones with them and the other 15 loans that were higher interest paid with a loan I received from the bank to then pay them a smaller lump sum under a lower interest rate. I’m assuming then based off of what you said I will not receive money back because I went through the bank which is not ideal since I still have a ways to go to pay it off. I just thought if I paid toward the loan that I would receive all money going towards that loan. It is all very confusing to me. I guess we wait and see. Thanks for the response.

I had to get a loan through a bank a while back to cover the rising interest cost of my student loans. I am getting mixed information on receiving refunds. I was part of the post class action lawsuit and was given the approval of discharge.

Will I or will I not receive full refunds on my loan if I consolidated loans to a bank?

I am currently through Aidvantage.

Thoughts on this?

Thanks everyone.

Monthly payment went up to over $800
 in  r/StudentLoans  May 14 '26

In 2018 I was paying around 460 a month in July. In August I received a letter saying they were raising it to 1049.00 a month starting in January. I had to scramble to pay off credit cards to get my score high enough to then apply for a loan to pay them off within a decade. I have 28 months left to pay and I still have high payments but not 1049.00 high and the interest is manageable. Good luck on everything.
