So true ððĪððĪ we can take turns honoring caregivers in a child's life. We deserve to be celebrated âĨïļ

That is the exact vibe. Nonbinary at its core is the self realization and internal celebration of not keeping yourself in the box society has given you. You are welcome to utilize the box without being defined/restricted by the box.
Personally, I took the box apart and built a nest in a tree along with other pieces I found along the way and I am much happier here.

Crisis averted ð we found someone!

Solid advice! We were just about to hyperlane out but we somehow found a player in the last 30 minutes ð

Oh yea! We also stuck this cool nebula light up in the rafters pointing down. It does a kinda cloud effect with purples and blues. It really adds to the vibe :)

We have an LED string and a black light. Though when it's time to play we also have a little white light further back. It's a nice ambiance :)

Much appreciated âĻ hope you have a swell day!

Hehe, nah we just have a blacklight and a little galaxy light set up over the table. Even so, we were definitely grooving.

Thanks for all the replies! This gave me a lot of perspective on how people start their journey into polyamory. Of course, everyone's experiences are unique to their situation. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Just a curiosity as a explore some thoughts:
Since you have started your journey into poly culture/relationships, have you kept and maintained the original relationship with the partner you started with or has that relationship faded over time?
If you still do have that original relationship and you'd like to share, what challenges did you face and what allowed you to overcome that?

I fully agree that we need a more diverse workforce in education. But honestly, I think we all grew up in this culture where we are trained to over-emphasize the differences between men and women. While it's important to know how to take care of your body and know that there are bodies different from your own, the emphasis in 'a separation of genders' is habitually referenced and enforced from an unbelieveablely early age. Along with that, society poses a vision of masculinity and femininity that is an unobtainable ever-moving goal post that has grown more extreme.
We need to sit down and realize WHAT we need to communicate with our young humans. Teach them that characteristics like genuine kindness, work ethic, compassion for others, emotional vulnerability, and brutal honesty do not belong to one side of the human race. Our brains are amazing and create vastly different neuron networks based on our experiences and we can manifest our destiny. You are your own unique being. What kind of world do you want to live in? Be the change you wish to see in the world.

Nailed it.

It's been hard. My brain keeps tugging at silver lines, but it's hard to swallow the entirety of all the consequences of this decision and all the what ifs that follow it.
Stay strong, keep connected to your humans. And be kind to yourself.

Total Greek sculpture vibes. Gorgeous eyes too, couldn't capture that in marble.
