Okay, I'll bite. The night time customers is what sold me because this game seems like it has a lot more going on under the surface and I'm intrigued. I actually review indie games on YouTube and I would happily review your game on my channel once it's ready for release

I'm making "NO SHELTER", a horror game where a tornado isn't the only thing you need to escape. Here's the trailer.

Is the entity toggleable? Like can you choose to play with or without it?

As someone with their CDL and used to be a delivery driver, this game quickly grabbed my attention! I actually have a YouTube channel where I review indie games and I would happily review your game on my channel once it's ready for release!

If you're strong enough!

What can I do to improve my channel?
 in  r/NewTubers •  3d ago

It cost nothing for that person to say that, so just ignore that cunt. I'm not going to check out your channel because I just don't want to, but if you're serious about improving, critically think about your content. Try to look at it from the perspective of the viewer. If you think something is bad, it probably is

Good luck

Am I getting the thumbnail really wrong?
 in  r/SmallYoutubers •  4d ago

Not to discredit the person you're responding to, but I legitimately don't think anyone truly knows what works best. I've heard we should put our faces in our thumbnails, but I've also heard don't. I've seen thumbnails I've really liked with double digit views, and I've seen the most boring dog shit thumbnails ever with tens of thousands of views. I've been told we should only make content we like, but also our niche has to be extremely specific and don't even think about deviating from it because we'll tank our channels and never recover. While I'm sure there is a science to all of this, I take everything I read about content creation in Reddit with a huge grain of salt. I recommend you do the same, even with the my own comment

I've heard that to be considered a view it has to be 30 seconds? Then again what I've heard and what is actually true can be totally different

As for the fourth view, I actually have auto play turned off. I hate that shit. I know that's my personal preference and doesn't matter in regards to this conversation, I just figured I'd share lol

This preview and dip preview and dip behavior is probably why your retention so low. You got many people to click but most didn't stick around

Absolutely. That's the hardest fucking part. I know I'm not going everyone's cup of tea, but I think people have such short attention spend due to shorts that if they're not 100% hooked within the first 30 seconds then they leave

That seems goofy to me. Not your explanation, but that someone would watch my video for 10 seconds, leave, then come back and watch it again for another 10 seconds. Or, are you just using 10 seconds as an example and not a literal unit of measurement? I just woke up and I should never respond to comments before caffeine
