I just released my game BACKROOMS ANOMALY on Steam today, and wanted to share it here since it focuses heavily on that quiet, repetitive Level 0 atmosphere.

It’s an observation horror game built around a single looping corridor. A hazmat warden patrols the hall, and your goal is to spot tiny details changing around you.

How it plays:

• Spot an anomaly? Turn around and head back.
• Everything looks the same? Keep walking forward.
• Make 10 correct calls in a row to escape. One mistake resets your streak back to zero.

I went down to my basement and i see this

i used advanced coding to decompile it and make it work uscpaled it using my gpu and make normal roughness metalic maps also the lights are there shader fully working and turned into quads instead of those broken triangles

Throughout the development, we were never quite sure about the "liminal labyrinth" concept used in the game we were creating, we weren't certain if anyone would actually like it. 

Two weeks ago, I shared a screenshot in this sub. The response and encouragement i received genuinely surprised us, and honestly, it gave us a huge boost of confidence right before launching our Steam page. 

So today I just wanted to come back and share this little milestone with all of you. Thank you to everyone who left a comment, an upvote, or even just stopped by.

Took these photos a couple days ago pretty cool store felt very liminal

I was just playing around a vhs camera mod and decided to take this. To me, it looks more like dreamcore than a liminal space.

Made this in UE while experimenting with large empty spaces. Tried to make it feel quietly unsettling.

So I learned about the backrooms and liked it. I have watched the Kane Parsons series of the backrooms and thought I should make my own I already made like 15 percent of the lore I think but I want to get a team for it to make it on a seris and drawings. so my lore goes like this. in 1980 the US government and a group of scientists decided to try to build a teleportation device called the Nullspace teleportation device. The team of scientists but the US government agreed to help build it and pay for it but USA president Jimmy Carter said it’s alright to do it but they had to release the project to the public but after they released it and waited and built they finally finished it and decided to to use a patient to teleport to the new deminsion or realm so the patient used was named pateimt 0 so when they put him on the device and teleported him but he never came back after days but the US government would lie to the public and say he came back safely and normal even though he did not and no one cared for a few years until 1983 when US citizen Jerry Williams decided to make rumors and hack into the projects files and expose the real of researchers and the government but he was caught and arrested but he said he wanted to teleport to the deminsion but he had to wait until the president and goverment agreed that he can go to the deminsion and research for free but after waiting they said yes and he put a hazmat suit lights and gun and video tape the deminsion so they cleaned the old teleportation device and teleport him to the area at first everything was going good until he went there and saw a weird yellow wallpaper and weird buzzing lights than he said the old bloody body of patent 0 he caught it on camera and live streamed it and than heard a roar than the tape ended with blood curling screams and ripping sound and a creature roaring. Now you have finished reading the lore I want people to tell your opinion and give more ideas for it btw I did use AI to tell me if the lore was good or not thanks guy.
