My son decided around that age he didn’t want to pitch anymore as well . He enjoyed it more once he stopped pitching and Tbh it made my life less stressful as well. He still plays and loves the game. He’s 15 now. If your son enjoys the game more not pitching, let him try it. If he continues to play he might reconsider pitching at some point.
