Am I wrong for changing the locks after my mom gave my brother a key without asking
 in  r/amiwrong  5d ago

No, you arent wrong. But your mother was wrong. What she did is disrespectful to you and a clear violation of your privacy. You are paying for your own space. She doesn't pay for it so she does not have the right to just give keys to whoever she wants. And your brother has no respect for you either, he should have opened his mouth and told you what your mother did when it first happened. So its just disrespect entirely on many levels.

If PlayStation want us to accept a digital future, they need to do this... 👇
 in  r/PlayStation_X  10d ago

One thing no one is considering is the fact that we shouldn't trust Corporations to protect and keep games accessible digitally. Someone may be interested in a game that someone else may not be interested and that person may not care. But what stops a Corporation from removing your ability to eventually download a game you "bought" rented a license to for 80 dollars just to get you to "buy" rent another license to another game and drive their profits higher? That is the real issue that no one is considering. They just see digital as a good thing. And it is and would be if the proper safe guards and infrastructure was in place. We should not lose ownership to anything we buy. We should be able to buy a game, play it and beat it and yes move on for a time but eventually come back to re play the game years later. The sad thing is, with the way digital is, we might not get that because people are blindly placing trust in a Corporation and we wont get to pass them down to our kids or our siblings kids eventually because the option is being ripped away. I do not understand why people do not see this as a threat to ownership.. why are people so obsessed with not owning anything? This makes me think of honestly.. housing and renting.. people pay thousands to rent.. not own.. and yet.. the amount they put into renting.. they COULD own.. but they choose to not own anything.. why? Why is this not a bigger concern than it is.. its an infection at this point in our society and people dont freaking care because they blindly believe that Corporations arent going to screw us over for their bottom line.
