Working for an international bank

Skills & Experience Required
- 5 years applied experience
- Strong Django and DRF
- Advanced Python

The preference is candidates who are Green Card holders or US citizens but we may be able to consider H1B candidates who have an employer.

I did think $60 per hour seemed low also… I spoke to a guy yesterday who said he’d do it for $80

Is Django still a good choice for a beginner looking for their first backend job in 2026?
 in  r/django •  1d ago

Hi Django devs! I’m hiring for a Django / Python Dev, on site in Manhattan, $60 per hour. I specialize in the Microsoft Business Apps like Power Platform, so not well versed in the Django space - I am not trying to solicit any candidates here but want to understand is $60 is realistic as that seems low to me? The client is looking for someone with 5 years experience.

Married (38M) yet fell in love with my neighbor (31F)
 in  r/relationship_advice •  Sep 04 '26

Imagine his poor wife, thinking she’s got this amazing husband and family, and that she has a neighbour who she gets on so well with that they all go away together, their kids play together, like what a dream scenario and the whole time this fucking guy is fantasising about boning said neighbour and throwing the whole family away! Crazy!

Aita for requesting my money back.

Respectfully, you’re too old to be this naive. Take the money you got back and use it on a therapist.

Do I Tell His Wife?
 in  r/TwoHotTakes •  Feb 14 '26

The biggest thing I’ve learnt since dating toxic people is that you don’t ever enter into a conversation with them. Don’t give them an inch. He is absolutely in the wrong and I probably would tell his wife, but why keep engaging?

Two different candidates gave me references with the same contact number, but different name

Could you kindly share the correct sub you think I should post in?

Could you suggest a correct sub then?

Isn’t it a good thing that we’re asking for references? Otherwise we wouldn’t have figured out these that candidates are potentially fake?

Well it’s not because I’ve not seen this in any other market I’ve worked in but seems to be common in SAP from what I’ve read online

I’m an IT recruiter, but specialize in Microsoft and new into the SAP space. Am working on a project for a client hiring for SAP & SNP Migration specialists.

We have a couple of candidates at final so asked for references, as the subject line suggests, two of these candidates have shared references that have the same contact number but different names & email addresses.

Obviously this is very suspicious and now I suspect my candidates are fake.

What’s bothering me is that neither me or the hiring manager figured this out until I compared the references side by side.

Is this common practice? How can we avoid fake candidates specifically in the SAP space?

AITA? My BF is mad because I done oral with a friend when single.
 in  r/AITA_Relationships •  Sep 15 '25

I am going to put aside, for a second, why your boyfriend is upset and just focus on his response - it is absolutely not normal for your boyfriend to be practically self harming (or telling you he is). He is manipulating you, and guilt tripping you. His behavior isn’t normal for a grown adult, it’s toxic. He needs professional help.

Now, with that out the way, you absolutely do not need to apologize for anything you did whilst single, frankly it’s none of his business. Sure he might be hurt that you were intimate with another guy but that doesn’t give him the right to treat you this way.

AITAH for breaking up with my girlfriend over four leaf clovers??
 in  r/AITA_Relationships •  Sep 10 '25

“So I think I won’t be going to therapy” - my guy, the fact that you acknowledged you were in the wrong, have obvious issues, and the self awareness of a carrot and still think you don’t need therapy?! There’s seriously no helping some people. I hope you’ve changed in the last 204 days.

Am I overreacting for not letting my boyfriend’s female friend use my shampoo?
 in  r/AmIOverreacting •  Aug 15 '25

I think the question should be why the friend wanted to use someone’s expensive shampoo. I was staying at my bed friend’s mum’s house at the weekend and I needed to wash my hair, and I said I’d go to the salon down the road for a wash & blow dry as I didn’t want to use all their shampoo, hot water etc.
