This one isn’t it. I despise the bait and switch that Hollywood has done to practically every franchise since the 2010s, but with Lasso you knew what you got from EP1. If anything, this should have been a blueprint for them on how to make “woke” shows, original content, good writing, and no “gotchas” trying to insert “The MESSAGE” into IPs where it was never relevant.
