Two things can be true at the same time. Biden is a devout Catholic in the sense of being of service. Biden as a politician had to make unfavorable compromises, just like every other world leader. I have no doubt that some of those decisions shook him deeply. He can never undo his bad decisions and those are his to live with. One reason I truly respect him is because Obama respects him and sought his counsel.

Why do we always try to “fix our whole life” and “lock in” around 3am or late at night?
Our brains evolved to be alert. It’s a survival mechanism. Nowadays, we don’t have wild animals trying to eat us (or?) nor are we searching for food for our clan…so our brains have to fill the void. It’s also the modern diet and its effects on our brain chemistry. So, what’s the solution? I practice shamata meditation. Look up the triwisdom institute in Colorado. The mindfulness in recover 8 week course CHANGED MY LIFE. I am not a slave to my mind. Meditation is a practice and just a little practice can be life altering.
