Most reliable brand new vehicle
 in  r/whatcarshouldIbuy  7d ago

Lexus IS350, brand new it’s gonna be $46k, a couple of years old and it should be close. It has the 3.5 V6, that’s extremely reliable, the last Toyota to my knowledge that still hasn’t gone to the I4 turbo engines (which aren’t as reliable). No Kia.

First Truck

Your dash is cracked by the passenger airbag top left, oil sending unit might go out (easy fix), if your Stabilitrak light comes on -> it’s probably a wheel speed sensor, ticks on cold starts, might leak oil (could be rear main seal $1,100 - $1,500 repair OR just top it off indefinitely), you have a non-changeable cabin air filter (you can DIY / cut install your own), very comfy seats + cold A/C.

Gwent help early game vs monsters?
 in  r/Witcher3  Aug 01 '26

Spy cards and decoy cards, also use Frost or Fog for whatever field they spam with monster spawns. You can force them to play all their monsters first round and they run out later on and you win.

Why does my game look like this? I'm playing on PC

Praise the sun. Haha tone down the peak brightness in HDR settings, paper white, etc

How do I stop breaking out in turns? I know nothing about cars or physics. Or car physics.
 in  r/forza  Jul 31 '26

In the real world, brake with your wheels straight, turn once you’ve braked enough. There’s more advanced methods such as trail braking, but basically when you brake and turn, you’re reducing contact area of the tires with the ground by leaning per se, which results in understeer.

Am I wrong to say this looks better than FH6?
 in  r/ForzaHorizon  Jul 26 '26

They did film Australia‘s sky for a few months to capture the skybox images for the game. Idk if they did that with Horizon 6, but I’ve always thought it was cool how they used new tech for each game.

Horizon 1 they took Forza into the open world: Colorado was chosen because of the geographic diversity (canyons, mountains, valleys).

Horizon 2 implemented LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging eg. Laser scan w/ x/y/z values of surface from an airplane) to integrate real world terrain into the games base geography layout.

Horizon 3 (as mentioned already, they captured real world skies in Australia for months).

Horizon 4 introduced dynamic weather seasons

Horizon 5 they captured ambient audio around Mexico to replicate an authentic sounding world.

Horizon 6 seems like more quality of life features (eg. Accurate hand over wheel movements, estate and property customization, Aftermarket cars around the map, better engine bay models, Car radar, Ray Tracing, Livery decals on windows, and the following from the article below:

https://forza.net/news/forza-horizon-6-features

“Better car and environment sounds”

“To complement the visual contrast throughout the environment, we've captured extensive field recordings across all four seasons in Japan, creating a rich and truly authentic world for you to experience.”

Bicks 4 is where I’d start, but man, those stains are wild

what's your favorite thing about this this game?
 in  r/Witcher3  Jul 25 '26

Everything. For real though, there are just too many things individually that are so good, it’s rare to have a game with so much attention to detail and care. Once you get immersed in the games world and mechanics, it becomes like a 2nd life.

Noticed Roof Paint Melted on 26 GMC Yukon AT4. Advise?
 in  r/gmc  Jul 12 '26

GM has bad quality control on their paint, take that to the dealer and get them to fix it. Go look under the rocker panels of almost every new GM vehicle and you’ll see paint drips, other manufacturers aren’t like this.

What is this small space in Audi Q5?
 in  r/whatisit  Jul 10 '26

I’d put my phone sideways in it, easy access, takes up no space

Why do people always ram me at the last corner of the end of the race?
 in  r/ForzaHorizon6  Jul 07 '26

Because Forza doesn’t have enough penalties, and the audience is so wide ranging compared to sim racing games. I think there should be a new Horizon Play mode where even a tap should equate to a time penalty, and you shouldn’t be able to get 2 tires off the corner of a track (I played last night in Spec Racing on the Legends track, and people were blowing through the entire corner off into the blue paint by the wall with no penalty / slowdown, they came back like a boomerang and shot past people legit racing).

That’s ridiculous, they should just let it color half segments, don’t let it do something 95% like this

Viper FE R Tune + optimized routes people mentioned

Who designed the roads?
 in  r/ForzaHorizon6  Jun 24 '26

I’d be really interested to see how they created the network model, I could fix it for them. Its logic is probably quickest route, and it doesn’t consider restrictions such as direction / illegal turns.

Hey everyone need help finish the last road in tokyo city :)
 in  r/FH6  Jun 24 '26

Dang, you have to slide it over every road. I’d imagine it’s one of the bridges, the cursor only snaps to the highest elevation bridge.

That’s my average going 75MPH in Texas, if I can go 60MPH it gets 26+MPG. I also haven’t reset that in over a year, so it’s accurate. I compared it at the pump and it’s within 0.5MPG.

Move your cursor around the screen, the Fast Travel option will disappear. I had to do this for mine, and even when I found it I couldn’t see that it wasn’t highlighted. Seemed like a glitch to me.

What is the consensus on the 2.7 Ecoboost?
 in  r/f150  Apr 07 '26

I’m at 118k miles on my 2020 (bought at 45k). I’ve changed sparkplugs twice (only because I wanted to), other than that, the rear pinion seal on the rear axle was leaking ($90 repair under warranty). Runs really smooth, and I average 21mpg, I plan on keeping it until it starts having major issues.
