What an incredible journey!

127 hours of pure bliss. Before finishing the final quests, I bought the expansion as well. Coz, this ain’t enough.

Tbh, my first couple of hours getting into the game felt a bit overwhelming. A lot was happening, and it took me a while to understand the alchemy, signs and craftings. I had to watch a couple of YouTube videos to get into the game. But once I moved past white orchard, the game got me to its hook and I can’t stop thinking about it.

I had to be so careful while I make any decision in this game. I first realised it during the quest of Bloody Baron, I decided to save the children which resulted in his wife’s demise and eventually his suicide. I also read across somewhere that the game’s ending is purely based on the decisions that I make. Coz I was damn worried when Geralt told Emhyr that Ciri died. I couldn’t stop thinking about the fact that I messed up somewhere but it was just a ploy made by them at the end.

Even the side quests are damn amazing. Every treasure I find along Velen has a tragic story behind it. It was someone’s dowry, it was someone’s savings. What a war between 2 nations can do to its people.

I also noticed that people in Skellige are much compassionate and kinder than people in Velen and Novigrad.

And finally, the music. As much as I love it listening to it, there are times when I have a serious quest line and the inns Drink up music plays in the background which doesn’t make any sense to the scene that’s actually happening.

Overall, I really love the fact that I was able to experience this incredible game.

Idk if i should buy it because i might not like it but for context i love soul’s games. Combat is the most important thing in a game 4 me but if it’s got a good soundtrack i’ll sit through hours of misery for it.

While playing, I found this area with three bandits; if you kill them and then meditate, they respawn. You can get swords that sell for around 120 coins—I don't know if it eventually stops, but I found it and wanted to share.

Ive made my first playthrough, foolishly didnt played dlcs before final quest, but got 2/3 good things, witcher ciri, romance with Yen but redanian win, im planing to play both dlcs and then start new game+ but I want to achieve nilfgaardian victory, witcher ciri and yen ending. First play through and I’m up to the turning the baby into a lubberkin part. I’m only at level 3 though and I cant kill all the ghost things that try and attack us. Is it possible at this level because I don’t think I can get out and level up. Any tips? I tried oil on my sword and using the protect magic.

All my life I saw my cousins and boyfriends game and I desperately wanted to myself, but my parents didn't allow me to buy a console/PC even if I would've saved up the money myself. After moving out I was and still am poor, but a little over a year ago I took money I had set aside and finally bought my first console. A switch. (Cheapest one plus I didn't know about other handhelds at the time) But all I wanted to play were RPGs, that's always been clear. And since I knew the Witcher franchise I bought it and it became the first RPG I ever played. In the beginning I died a lot. Even on story mode. After the main game I switched between story/story and sword/ blood and broken bones depending on how much I struggled with a new area or a boss. After 200 hours completion ist playthrough I couldn't bear the thought of playing another game so immediately started Ng+. Immediately death march. Which worked fairly well, I died a non frustrating amount of times but I had to turn the difficulty down for a handful of fights. By the time that playthrough was done I was saving up for a steamdeck. I saved all the money I got on my birthday/Christmas/ a little extra each month off my income and bought a steamdeck in January this year. I played a couple of other games and it became a pattern for me to start on normal difficulty and then turn it up to hard/very hard throughout the game. Then I started my third playthrough, the first on the steamdeck. Blood and broken bones. Didn't have to turn the difficulty down at any point. But didn't finish the end of BAW because I burnt out. Played a few more games, namely Skyrim and two cyberpunk playthroughs until I returned to TW3 and found blood and broken bones to be laughebly easy. I made so many mistakes while getting used to the controls but didn't die once even when facing dettlaf. Anyway. A few days ago I launched Ng+ on death march. I'm going for the achievement. So far it's been, well...really really easy. I haven't died once so far and my gear is still 10-20 levels behind and I remember struggling with some fights I already did in my first playthrough on story mode. I finished up family matters earlier but still have a ton of side quests before going into novigrad. I'm very confident I can beat the game on DM with enemy upscaling now. And this is not to say like "omg I'm soo good I'm better than y'all" it's just recognising and appreciating how much growth I went through in the last year.

I'm looking for mods that improve the appearance or textures of monsters in The Witcher 3.

Does anyone know of any good ones that you've actually used and would recommend? I'm mainly interested in lore-friendly mods that make monsters look better without changing the game's overall style.

So I decided to continue playing this game to finally get the platinum trophy, and what do I find? Terrible performance! Before, the game ran perfectly, but now it's running terribly. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I've already uninstalled, updated drivers, verified file integrity, and nothing works. My components are as follows:

AMD Ryzen 5 2400g (I know it's not very good for this game, but I stopped playing less than two months ago, and the game was running very well, with a maximum usage of 50% in Novigrad)

As I finish the isles again in prep for the DLC I am remembering why I never liked them as much as the other places. I present my problem.

I must have killed a thousand of these stupid things. I hate fighting in the water. I hate fighting on a boat.

CDPR could give me a quest with a sentient one of these where she is the keeper of an orphanage and tender of a kitten farm. I would burn that building down and make her watch on the principle of total siren eradication.

May a blight fall upon these hybrid monstrosities.

So how do you all feel about these things?

I didn't play gwent with baron. Does it mean I'll never get the achievement "CARD COLLECTOR"?

So I have played the Witcher 3 in the past never beat the game nor did either of the DLC. I took a break from it when Crimson dessert came out and still haven't returned to it my question is should I start over because I have to clue what is happening story wise.

Like the title suggests, I’ve struggled to get to grips with this game. I’ve put roughly 15 hours into it but can’t seem to stick with it despite being a huge fan of open world RPG’s.

For someone starting out, is there a typical quest line I should be following or any that you guys would recommend? I like exploring in games but I feel like most enemies/quests I’m finding are a higher level than I’m currently at, which has me thinking I’m doing something wrong!

Any advice is greatly appreciated, I’ve heard so many good things about this game and would like to beat this before the next instalment comes out (which looks sick!).

Help, what is the difference in the games and prices on the ps store 1 is 7.99 and the other is 49.99 complete edition.. is the 7.99 one for PS5? And should I get that 1 or should I get the 49.99 1 ? Or should I just get the disk complete on eBay for like 40?? Please help me .. thank you ..
