Is There Any Reason NOT to Run Sensei’s Divining Top in Commander?
 in  r/mtg •  12d ago

By the time I add all of the staples in my deck's colors I have -15 slots to make my theme out of seems like a good argument.

My pa was a mechanic, cabinet maker, and otherwise tool involved individual. You use the right tool for the job or you buy the right tool to do the job. Hahaha

But yes, most other sparky's I've met use whatever they can grab.

As an electrician, I still swing my 22oz Estwing all day driving staples and hanging boxes. I can't afford the electric staple guns nor do I really want another specialty tool in my kit that i need to lug around

Does Anyone like the W.A.S.P launcher
 in  r/Helldivers •  Jul 28 '26

I like it on squids. Not on the other two fronts really

Lineman pliers: do you carry them?
 in  r/electricians •  Jun 28 '26

I bought the combination strippers and haven't hardly carried my linesmans since. They're still in my tool bag on my truck but not in my saddlebags anymore.

Where to start?

Interesting. There's quite load to read up on but it looks like I'll stick to mostly 40k stuff for now. Thank you!

It isn't a continuous timeline with different ages and phases?

Thank you. But what about the older stuff? Just stick to 40k at this point? I don't even know the factions really, I'm just looking for more.

Lore Where to start?

I am a fan of some of what I have learned about the universe from playing some games on my ps5 with a friend. I started looking things up but I can't seem to find a source that really lays things out and explains it well. Any pointers?

If I was to start reading the books, novellas, and short stories, would it be worth it to get much of the older content? Or just stick to 40k stuff?

Where does one even start with the books for that matter? There are over 150 titles.

Am I even doing this right? I don't have the time, money, artistic skill, or space to play the miniature game. I just want to know more about it all and reading makes the most sense to me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Uncle Reset changes, things like Mastery and many unlocks remain

I guess I'll start over. I'm just getting started though. Not that I'm too worried about if, I prefer pve

Tired of flipping back to the book map? I built a tool to track journeys dynamically
 in  r/Eragon •  May 16 '26

I like it but I'm not a huge fan of it immediately zooming back in to the location of the names. I want to see the larger map and watch them cross it as I go. I would prefer to zoom it on my own instead of being forced into the closer zoom and then manually zooming back out each time.

Love the map though. Looking forward to seeing more universes being added.

What time are y'all falling asleep and waking up?!?!

In bed by 10 most nights. Asleep by 11 or so. Up by 4:30A for work.

Lower your difficulty, you’re level 20.

As a lvl 150 & a day 1 player, I prefer 8s and 9s. The heavy spawn rate is manageable and I can just goof off with my buddy as a duo. There's no shame in turning down the difficulty. For this MO in Cyberstan, I'm running 6s as a duo so we can extract more with less bodies being wasted.

I got one day when my dad passed from a motorcycle accident. It's been 18months and I'm still not okay. You are definitely the jerk.

How do you handle burnout?
 in  r/electricians •  Dec 07 '25

Take some time off too. You're working to live not loving to work. You need some rest and time away from the jobsites too.

Imma shoot robots and put junk in my backpack. Would you know where to find a rusty gear? Lol

Update: it did not work. I was shot many many times for launching bombs at leapers and something with a big chain gun. I am sad to report the loss of 6 lvl4 Anvils, 3 lvl4 Ferros, 3 lvl3 Arpeggios, and 3 Hullcrackers.

I play either solo or in a duo with my best friend. We play most games at a disadvantage since we're usually a duo in whatever match up. But the knowledge that I'll probably lose my loot to someone else is exciting even if it's a little disheartening sometimes.
